"Amazing!" Adam stood up from his chair and walked toward Cara. "She looks a lot like you," he raised Cara's chin and smiled at her. "She is pretty too," he commented and earned a glare from his sister. "Why didn't you clean up her wounds," Adam pointed out the cute on Cara's forehead. "She needs to be treated," he added.
"I'm fine," Cara said.
"Let's her go," Maria ordered. "She is not healing because she has no wolf. She is a rankless one and whether she is well or not is none of my business!"
"You should have at least treated her wound. It looks disgusting and unbearable to look at," Adam changed his countenance from a smiling face to a frown. He stared into Cara's eyes with his obsidian eyes and smiled. His fingers trailed down Cara's face until landed on her chest. "Beautiful," he whispered into Cara's ear while she shivered under his touch. " hmm," he stood up and walked back to his seat. "Why is she replacing Alexa?"
