Christan growled out in frustration as he threw the glass of wine in his hand to the wall and yelled out. He kicked the glass desk in his study and watched as it shattered into pieces. "It's her right?" Stefan questioned.
"The heavens must be toying with me!" Christian yelled and paced around his study. It was his study where he attend to the affairs of the werewolves and spent all his days sulking while thinking about his time in heaven. His study like the rest of the house was draped in gold. There were paintings of Lycan on the wall of his study. A black Lycan standing tall with red glowing eyes. He had painted it himself when he was bored with life.
Stefan sat down on the brown couch in the study and heaved a sigh. "I understand how you feel but she is a different person now and.."
"What do you mean?" Christian yelled at him. "Are you saying that I should let her go!"
Stefan shrugged his shoulder and shook his head. "You can't possibly kill her since she is your mate," he stated and that was the truth.
Ever since Christian's Lycan laid his eyes on Katrina, he had been howling in his head to let him out and marked his mate but Christian refused and finally found a way to block him out.
"I can't kill her but I bet she would last for two days with what I had in plan for her, " Christian stopped pacing and grinned at his friend.
"How do you mean?" Stefan asked.
"The pebbles ain't just any pebbles. They are laced with wolfsbane and believe me, she won't last the night since she is an omega."
"You laced the pebbles with wolfsbane?"
"Yeah," Christan chuckled. "If killing her would hurt my Lycan then I just have to find a way to be rid of her and then," Christian paused and sat beside his friend. "Once she is dead, I can return to heaven and take my place as the king again."
"You barely know this girl, Christian. Isn't that too cruel?"
Christian shrugged his shoulder. "You talk like this when you know what she did to me!" He shouted. "I've been In pain, struggling for ten thousand years," he stood up and placed his hand on his forehead. "She is responsible for my suffering and don't you dare act like I didn't suffer a great deal when she betrayed me in heaven!"
"It wasn't her!" Stefan argued. "Veron.."
"Don't mention that name," Christian warned in a stern tone. "Don't you ever mention that name in front of me ever again or I'll denounce you as my friend."
Stefan raised his hand in defeat and stood up. "Don't renounce me, I'm your beta and you need me, " Stefan walked toward his friend and tapped him on the shoulder. "You've been in pains for too long but I think you should give her a...."
Christian glared at his friend and he stopped talking at once. "Not another word about her. Just watch as we will go to heaven once she dies!"
Stefan nodded his head and argued no farther. There was nothing he could do that would change his mind. He had endured torture for thousands of years because and now that he had found her. It was his chance to get rid of her, find redemption and go back to heaven.

Katherine writhed in pain as she closed her eyes enduring the pain from the Wolfsbane that was weakening her every few seconds. She was doing it for her sister and she was going to endure it to the end.
Katherine was meant to kneel in front of the mansion very close to the fountain. She had no idea that the pebbles were laced with wolfsbane until her kneel made contact with it. She winced In pain as she felt weakened a few minutes later.
Katrina kept her eyes open as she watched different people walking around. Her eyes spin and became hazy but Katrina didn't give in to her weakness. She wondered why the king hated her so much and punished her.
She was his mate for crying out loud, Katrina thought. He shouldn't have treated her like that even though she was an omega. Katrina thought the king was disappointed in her for being an omega. It was the only possible easy why the king hated her the first time he laid his eyes on him.
"Elena," she whispered get sister's name every few seconds to remember why she needed the job. She was going to keep her eyes open for her sister and her debtors. If she returned with nothing then she was done for. They were going to break every bone in her as they promised.

"Come rain, come sun, I'll always be with you," Katrina muttered the song her mother used to sing to her and her sister when they were younger. She was seven years at that time and her sister Elena was four. That's time, there was nothing wrong with her family. Everyone was happy and they were a big happy family. "Come rain, come sun, I will always be with you," Hot tears rolled down Katrina's face as he reminisced the past when her family was together. Thunder rumbled In the sky and lightning flashed in the sky. With no moon in the sky, rain poured down heavily a few minutes later. The heavens had heard Katrina's prayer and with the rain, the wolfsbane on the pebbles was watched off. "Come rain, Come sun, I'll always be with you," Katrina looked into the heavens and let the rain fall on her face.
Although the wolfsbane had weakened her, Katrina continued singing the song of the rain on top of her voice. "Come rain, come sun, I'll always be with you."
From a window in the mega-mansion, Christian stared at her and cussed at heaven. "This is your ploy to save her so I can't return to heaven right!" He yelled. "Haven't you punished me enough!" Christian cried out and beat his chest. "Haven't you?" He held his chest as he continue staring at Katrina. "This is just the beginning," he stated and closed his window.
