"Liam, I'm so scared. Our child almost died…" Indri whispered in a low voice. Her voice sounded weak as if trying to get Liam's sympathy.
"Are you sure that child is mine?" Liam's question made Indri freeze for a moment, but she soon returned to normal. She had thought that there would be so many people questioning this so she had prepared herself.
She looked at Liam's face with a sad look and said, "Do you think I lied to you?"
Indri's eyes looked sincere.
She had practiced this expression so many times that she had become very proficient. Even Liam couldn't find any flaw in that expression as if Indri was really pregnant with his child.
"How much do you remember about that day?" Liam thought for a moment and decided to ask her.
