Sophia left the Wretched Hunters earlier as she wanted to meet John. She rushed home, as she couldn't wait to meet him. They promised to meet in her hut. When she was there, John was inside her already, waiting for her.
John nodded as he talked through the mind link with someone. Then he smiled. 'Good job!' When he saw the door open, John stood. His eyes shone as he saw Sophia.
"We did it! We won!" Sophia said, running and throwing herself into his embrace.
John hugged Sophia and swung her. Later, they laughed together. Finally, Sophia wrapped her hands around John's neck.
"I'm glad you won, my darling." He kissed her lips tenderly. "Are you happy now?"
Sophia nodded and smiled. But then she leaned her head to his chest and inhaled his scent deeply. "You smell good."
John grinned. "Whoa, you came home only to tell me that? I feel flattered."
Sophia giggled and punched his chest playfully. "No, silly. I have something I want to tell you."
