Selina couldn't reply as she was confused now. She felt guilty because she had betrayed Jamie. Yet, with Fred, she felt dirty as he was the one with whom she cheated on Jamie.
Fred turned her body and gazed into her eyes. "Sweetie, what do you think if you leave Jamie?"
"What?! No! I can't do it!"
"Why not? You enjoy being with me, and so do I. We may have pups together. But unfortunately, he can't give you a pup. "
Selina shook her head. "Who knows if I can have a pup with him too. It's only about time."
Fred smiled and stopped the arguments, as he didn't want to push Selina further. "Right."
"You doubt it?"
Fred shrugged. "Everything is possible, but I wonder if he is the reason you haven't been pregnant yet."
It stung Selina. She felt she needed to defend Jamie. "But I had already had a wild life before Jamie. I have never been pregnant either."
