The next day, Jisoo called HyeJin to tell her that they must hold another meeting only with the storyboard team to redo the animation composition. However, HyeJin didn't manage to wake up. So, Haruna picked up the call for her.
"Good morning, Ms. Lee. I am Kim Jisoo, from Seoul Animation company. I would love to tell you that you should attend another meeting scheduled in 15 minutes. Please arrive here on time.", Jisoo said.
"Hello, it's Takaaki. Thank you for the information, I will inform Ms. Lee.", Haruna said.
"Oh, sorry for that. By the way, please attend the meeting too, Ms. Takaaki.", Jisoo said.
"Noted. I'll be there soon.", Haruna said.
"HYEJIN! WAKE UP!! We have another meeting in 15 minutes!! Get ready!", Haruna said while packing her blanket up to be brought to the laundry.
HyeJin jumped off from the bed and exclaimed, "ANOTHER MEETING?! IN 15 MINUTES?!"
"Yes. I think Mr. Kim wants us to revise some parts of the animation opening again.", Haruna said.
"We have been attending more than 5 meetings in 3 days! We haven't even prepared the sequel of the story. How could we meet our deadlines?", HyeJin said.
"I'm sure we can do it! Don't worry, I'll always help you anytime you need me. Now, we need to focus on the animation first, it's our first time to make an animation adaptation of our comic!", Haruna said.
When the meeting started, Minho suddenly entered the meeting room and started inspecting the progress of the meeting. Everything seemed normal until he started complaining about the composition of the storyboard.
"Do you think that people will read the credits if you place it here with a small font?! They will only focus on the animation. Change it!", He complained.
"Kim Jisoo, move! I want to sit there!", He said.
Jisoo immediately stood up.
"Has Mr. Kim always been this rude? How can he boss around in an impolite way?", HyeJin thought.
"This part! You should revise this. No one will ever watch this type of animation! Look at this, you made a shabby line! What if the animators think that you did this purposely?! What will the public think about us, you idiot!", Minho shouted.
"I-I'm sorry for the mistake, sir. I'll fix it right away.", The head of the storyboard team said.
"Who drew this?! Look at this! Why is the head this large when the body is small? Then, You draw the fingers so badly! Even a 5-year old kid can draw this! REDRAW IT NOW!", Minho shouted.
"I'm sorry sir, I'll redo it.", The one in-between frame animation artist said.
"Where do you graduate from?! I don't think that my company lets someone like you work here!", Minho mocked the artist.
"I wasn't focused when I was doing this frame. I won't repeat the same mistake next time.", The artist said.
"What is this?? I can't even recognize this! Who drew this?!", Minho shouted while pointing at the CEO character who was raging.
"I-I do sir.. It is the CEO sir.. I added more moving strokes so that I can express his expression sir..", Another artist said.
"It looks like a 2 year-old doodle! Change it!", Minho said.
HyeJin was annoyed, as she can't stand seeing others getting mocked by Minho. She stood up and shouted at Minho, "MR. KIM MINHO, CAN YOU STOP MOCKING OTHER PEOPLE IN THIS ROOM? YOU ARE OUTRAGEOUS! LOOK AT THEM! THEY LOOK VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! SAY SORRY TO THEM!"
Minho cleared out his throat and said, "If you dislike the way I lead, please leave. And don't ever come back to this place! Plus, your contract will end if you leave."
Haruna instantly pulled HyeJin and calmed her down.
"Sst! HyeJin, keep your temper down! We're in an important meeting.", Haruna whispered.
"B-But he's mocking everyone! He's treating everyone so badly! I can't stand him anymore!", HyeJin whispered.
"You should calm down if you want this animation process to be done perfectly.", Haruna said.
"S-sorry..", HyeJin said.
"Okay, let's continue the meeting.", Minho said
After the meeting ended, Jisoo personally approached HyeJin and asked, "Are you okay? I'm sorry if you are uncomfortable with his personality. He really doesn't mean it. He's just tired."
"I'm okay, but I don't like seeing others being mocked like that. He hurted many people's feelings.. I'm very sorry for interfering too much with your company's issues…", HyeJin said in a low voice.
"It's completely fine. Thank you for speaking up. The staff seemed to be happier after hearing you speak like that, since you have spoken up what they wanted to say for a long time.", Jisoo comforted HyeJin.
"Thank you, Ms. Kim.", HyeJin said.
"By the way, you can contact me or Mr. Yamada anytime if you have any inquiries. Here's my business card.", Jisoo said while giving HyeJin her business card.
"No worries, Ms. Kim. I'll contact you if I have any questions regarding the animation. Thank you for your hard work!", HyeJin said.
Jisoo left them and took a pile of books with her. Soon, Jisoo fell down since she isn't used to the heels she is wearing today.
"Ah! I should've not used these heels today. I messed everything up! Now Mr. Kim will be mad at me..", She said.
"Ms. Kim, do you need help to carry these books? You tripped on your heels just now.", HyeJin said while collecting the books and papers from the ground.
"No, thank you. I can handle these myself.", Jisoo said while collecting the books and papers.
"Let me bring half of these. The pile of books is literally taller than you. I feel bad if I let you carry this alone.", HyeJin said.
"No, I'm really okay. I just need to take off my heels and carry all these to Mr. Minho's office.", Jisoo said.
"No, it's fine. Please keep using your heels. Let me help you.", HyeJin said while taking some of the books from Jisoo's arms.
The two went to Minho's office and placed in the books. Minho was confused on why HyeJin is helping Jisoo to carry the books.
"Why is she carrying the books for you? It's a secret information for our company. You can't simply let others see or touch it.", Minho said.
"No, she helped me carry these books just now. She didn't read anything at all! Really! I saw her helping me with my own eyes!", Jisoo said.
Minho glanced at Jisoo's bruised and wounded feet, and started to worry about her.
"Whatever you say, if anything happens, you must be responsible for the problem!", Minho said.
"No worries, Mr. Kim.", Jisoo said.
After they left Minho's office, HyeJin took out a bandage from her bag and gave it to her.
"Here, take it. Your ankle's bleeding. Use this, this will help you to stop your bleeding.", HyeJin said.
"Thank you for helping me Ms. Lee.", Jisoo said.
"No problem. Anyway, I'll get going. Thank you for today, Ms. Kim!", HyeJin said.
Since the meeting ended quite late, HyeJin met Jisoo and Minho walking out the office together. They look like a perfect couple with opposite personalities. Jisoo has a bright vibe, while Minho has a cold vibe. Jisoo seems to be talking about a lot of things to Minho, while Minho is quiet and cold.
The next day, HyeJin called Haruna to gossip about Jisoo.
"Hey, Haruna, do you remember the pretty secretary in Seoul Animation? She's very kind, unlike her boss!", She said.
"Yeah! I remember her. What's up? You're friends with her now?", Haruna asked
"Not yet, but I think that she is dating Mr. Kim! I saw them walking out of the office together. I also saw Jisoo talking so happily with him! I'm very sure that they are dating!", HyeJin said.
"How is it possible? You might've mistaken him as another man! Mr. Kim treats Ms. Kim so badly, how are they dating in that way?", Haruna said.
"No, Haru*, I'm 100% sure!! They look like a perfect couple outside the working hours!", HyeJin said.
[*HyeJin calls Haruna Haru sometimes]
"Well, Ms. Kim is extremely pretty! I think that X entertainment had casted her as a trainee before! Who doesn't like pretty women anyway?", Haruna said.
"True! She has the ideal body shape and perfect beauty! I hope that I can be like her~", HyeJin said.
"You could never be someone exactly like her, but I'm sure you could be better than her if you work hard!", Haruna said to encourage HyeJin to continue her comic sequel.
"By the way, I called you to ask you to go with me to a cafe near your house. Do you want to go there with me? I heard that the cafe has many good spots to take pictures!", HyeJin said.
"How about visiting the cafe after making some progress in the sequel? I've finished all the character designs though!", Haruna said.
"Aw! Pleaasee~ I've done 50 pages of sketches last night!", HyeJin begged.
"No. I'll go after you finish another 20 pages of sketches.", Haruna said.
"Now you sound like Mr. Kim, but a better version of him!", HyeJin joked.
The girls laughed, and Haruna managed to get HyeJin to work on the comic sequel. As what they agreed, The girls met in an aesthetic cafe near Haruna's house. The cafe is designed based on the spring, having many fake sakura trees around the cafe, pink walls and cabinets, white tables and chairs.
They ordered some sweets which came out with a white picnic bucket.
"Woah! This cafe is very pretty! The hard-work I've done has paid off!", HyeJin said happily.
"Never expected that someone like you would get to know this type of cafe! Hahhaha", Haruna joked.
"Of course I can find such places! I've been free after the last meeting. I get to open social media after a while!", HyeJin said proudly.
Suddenly, someone who has an elegant scent, greeted HyeJin and Haruna from the entrance of the cafe. Who is she?
