Tuya took the longer way up to the temple and she was avoiding people moving very fast. She was so upset. She could not remember being this upset in a very long time. She wiped a little at her eyes. She placed her fingers below her eyes and tried to wipe them away as she sucked in a breath. She was incredibly disappointed in herself for allowing herself to be hurt this way.
"Keep it together Tuya. Don't you dare cry for acting a fool. You did that to yourself," she said and was hurrying up the stairs. A threatening sob escaped, and she rushed faster upstairs to the backway and then practically sprinted to her room. She went in and slammed the door.
