"My lady, even the atomic bomb you mention is child's play to me given the right materials," He gave her a dashing half smile before raising the clip to look at it. Portia flet her own smile and for a second she wondered if it was hot in here or just her. She liked that he teased back. This was good, they weren't just strangers running in the same direction then.
"That confident in your skills?" She asked, popping another crisp into her mouth. She noted that bit of a smile.
"History would say yes. My family and bloodline were the ones that designed the city of Atlantis to be used by the gods and others as a weapon as a last resort. So I would say yes, in this I suppose I will be as they now say, cocky." Portia laughed a little. Even though he said cocky, his delivery of it did not sound as if he was full of himself. Portia was very curious about him. He was a well of knowledge that she wanted to tap into.
