" Oh relax!! I'm just messing with you, don't worry I'm not calling him and he will be fine," she said and I long sigh relief...
Zelda and I walk into the living room. I sit near the fireplace and Zelda went to get changed. I pull the phone out of my pocket and through the picture that I clicked with Denim and thought.
" What a meeting that was with a superstar. Bloody arrogant and I'll never wants to see his face again but he also help me... so what if helped me he thought I'm that type of girl."
" Hey! what are you looking in the phone" she asked me.
" Ummm nothing important just some pictures," I said
" What picture? show me... what are you hiding from me your lover" she said
I roll my eyes and said," Oh come on, Zelda. I don't have any lover and you know that plus you know the superstar denim sean"
She sat on the couch, opposite side of me, and said," The Hot and handsome superstar Denim Sean. who don't know him? I'm his biggest fan"
" You better not be his fan... I mutter
She Heard me and asked me, why would I say that about Denim Sean. I clear my throat...
" You know in Bali, I meet with him and you know he is not nice with his fans and especially with me," I said
" What! you meet with Denim Sean! OMG, how to tell me everything. How he looks in real life" she said out of full excitement but I hate to break her hear, he is not like what she thinks? charming and handsome or more like a, ridiculous and immature.
" Well... He looks Okay and we both stayed in the same hotel and you know me and him were in the limousine when we meet but not everything went well because I ended up throw up on... I took a pause... Later I saw him in the restaurant with a model-looking lady. I have pictures of him but unfortunately, I have to delete them because if I couldn't do that so I never came back to California...
cut Story short he thought I am a mistress or something and I blackmail him for money" I said
" What! you blackmail Denim Sean for money. How could you do that you are mad??? grace said in shocked expression
" I don't have any other choice and he provoked me first so I have to show him who am I and one more thing I threw water on his face because he calls me Aunt," I said
" O My God you are crazy girl, you know he could sue you in court. He is a famous superstar and how could you be so stupid" she said
I Lean back on the couch and stares on the ceiling and said," I don't have time to think about him you know right now I'm homeless, and my friend's fraud with me. What I got myself into"
" don't worry everything will be alright and I think you need to take some rest," she said
She asked me if I want to sleep in her room but I told her that I can sleep on the couch. She gives me a pillow and a quilt. I got changed in PJs and lean on the couch. she also went to sleep.
" it's better to have enemies who slapped you in the face than the friends who stabbed you in back... O I trust blindly on them" I thought
The next morning...
I felt sunrays on my eyes. I lazily open my eyes and try to figure it out where am I? But then reality punch me in the face and I remember I'm in grace house and I'm homeless now. I get up from the couch and stretch my arms and I had massive pain in back because I slept on the couch.
I went into the kitchen and made a cup of coffee. I'm still not fully awake and I grabbed the cup of coffee and moved towards the door. I accidentally hit my forehead in the door.
" Ouch... Ouch God, Edda! why I can't do anything in the right way and without hurting myself" I said and rub my forehead.
I walked into the living room and sit on the couch near fireplace and took a sip of coffee.
" Good morning " she said from behind me. I turn the face towards her and she was fully dressed up.
" Good morning Zelda. When did you wake up and why you are so dressed up" I said
" You don't know what time is it Edda,it's 10'Oclock in the morning and you are about work" she said
" O holy crap! I have been sleeping that late and I need to meet with the lawyer. I'm not going to work please... apologize boss for today" I said
" Okay then get ready fast I'll drop you off to the lawyer office" she said
" Okay give me 5 minutes I'll get ready" I said and put the coffee cup on the table and get up. I went straight to take a quick shower. I open my suitcase and grab a t shirt and high waisted jeans and a long trench coat. I put on the clothes and used grace hair straightener to straightened my hair. I put on beanie and gloves. I grab the small bag pack and went downstairs to Zelda.
" I'm ready let's go hurry up! I said
" Okay came let's go!! .. she said
Zelda and I walk towards the main door and grace pull the door handle. Zelda and mine jaw dropped when we saw frank at the door freezing cold with a box of cheesecake.
" what's happened to you? she said
" Zelda! why he is not talking to you... oh God did we kill him" I said
I drew my hand closer to eyes and wave my hand. Nick grab my hand and said,
" What are you doing? I'm not dead you know I bought your favorite cheesecake from Oliver's bakery" he said
I flinched my hand and said," You are freezing "
" Edda, let me see him" Zelda said and hold hand and said," Edda, take the keys and go, you are getting late. I'll stay with this dumb ass"
She gives me the car keys and I said," Are you sure you can take care of him or you need my help"
" Oh no I got this... just opened the door. I'll take him inside" she said and I opened the door for them and she takes frank iside the house.
I get in the car and wear seatbelt then I put the bag pack on the passenger seat. I start the car and drove away towards the lawyer office.
After spending 1 hour in traffic jam. I finally reached. I parked the car outside of the lawyer office and grab my bag pack and went inside.
I talked to the receiptionest and told her that I have appointment with Mr Austin and she called Mr Austin and told him about me.
" Ma'am Mr Austin is waiting for in his office" she said
" Thank you so much and where is his office can you help me with it"I said
She told me that the direction and I followed it and knock on the door and Mr Austin opened the door for me.
I went inside and sit on the chair and Mr Austin sit on his chair and said,
" Miss Edda, I study the case and I'm afraid to say that our case is weak, your signature is on the legal documents"
" I didn't know that, my friends fraud with me. I didn't know anything about that"I said
" Yeah, I know that but if you are willing to file a case against your friends so it may helped our case" Mr Austin said
" No I don't want to file a case against them. I can't do that" I said
" Miss, Edda think about that again, it will help our case" Mr Austin said
" No I don't want to do and I will not change that and please is their any other solution besides that" I said
He gets up from the chair and walk around the table and said,
" Miss Edda, their no other way but... he took a pause... but if you talk to the new house owner and told him about your situation maybe he will help us"
" Do you know who bought my house? I asked Mr Austin
" I don't have information about that but if you want to know who's bought your house then I can call the agent that bought the house first" he said
" Oh no I'll talk to the new house owner and thank you for giving me the time and have a nice day" I said and get up from the chair and Mr Austin walked me to the door and went outside of his office.
" O God! why me? why me always, their are billions of people living on earth and it's only happened to me" I thought and take a deep breath.
I went to the car and unlock it. I threw the bag pack on passenger seat and get in the car, first I thought to meet with the owner but I realized I should give zelda her car back, maybe she needed.
I pull out the phone and call grace...
" Hello, Zelda where are you? How's frank doing? I said
" Don't ask me about that we are at hospital" She said
" What happened? which hospital? I said
" You know the hospital near my house, we are in ER" she said
I told her, I'm coming there in 30 minutes then I hung up the phone.
" Oh God!! what we have done to him, poor Frank. I feel bad about him and it's all happened because of me" I thought and starts driving.
I reached hospital about an hour because of damn fucking traffic but finally I got there then I parked the outside of the hospital and grab my bag pack and get off the car. I raised my gaze and saw frank and Zelda were walking out of hospital.
I wave my hand in air to caught their attention and they saw me. I moved forward towards them and said," What happened? why you are coming out of the hospital is everything alright"
" Yeah he is fine, just a temperature and the doctor gives medication" she said
" Oh thank God! He is fine or else I'll never forgave myself" I said
" Yeah me too and how's is the meeting goes with the lawyer... she took a pause and glance on frank and he was still not looking good.
We take frank towards the car. I open the car door and I helped Zelda to get him in the car.
She asked me again what happened in the meeting and I told her everything what the lawyer said about the case and to meet with the new owner.
" You are so stupid! why didn't you complain against them Edda. They fraud with you and you didn't have to place live" she said
I know she is right but they were my friends they were like family to me, if I did the same things they did to me then there is no difference between them and me.
" I know what am I doing and still stand on my words. I'm not gonna complain against them" I said
" Wow!! Edda, dumb you are on another level of stupidity and what you gonna do now Edda? What next? she said
" I guess I'm gonna meet with new owner and can you drop me off to my house" I said
" Obviously I'm gonna drop you and please don't create any chaos just talked to him politely" she said
I roll my eyes and take a deep breath. I told her that don't worry about I got this.. and why would you say that don't create chaos. I didn't do anything.
We both get in the car and I glanced back on frank and he was sleeping on the back seat of car. I glanced back on road and the snowfall starts.
