"What have you learned from this battle?"
Alex asked Chu Lian, he looked at Xiao Mei as well. Chu Lian looked at Alex and then at the place where Zulkarnine was before.
"I don't know to be honest. Do you know? Why was he so good?"
Chu Lian was so overwhelmed by the battle itself that, she lost the process of thinking straightly.
"No matter how strong you are, if you don't have mastery over a skill, you may lose to a lower realm guy. You need to improve your skill more. Now, then let me give you an example, from you guys, who are good at fire magic?"
A guy raises his hand.
"Come here."
Alex told him to come in front of him. That youth stood in front of him. He was at the 5th level of Expert Realm.

"My name is Travis."
Youth replied.
"Okay, Travis Kun. Show me your basic magic spell. Throw your magic on that target."
When he said that, Travis nodded and faced toward the south, there is the target.

A magic circle appears in his hand and tongue-like fire magic appeared from the magic circle and hit the target. The target was an iron dummy. So, apparently, nothing happened to the target.
Most of the people here noticed Alex's eyes were golden for a few seconds.

Of course, there is a certain limit to how much can he improve a magic circle. He already saw the improved and updated version of Travis's salamander tongue magic.

Alex then revises the magic by changing the pattern. It was the updated pattern that he took out from the wisdom eyes analysis panel.

Magic circle depends on imagination drawn in their mind, the more meaning of the imagination in a magic circle the stronger the effect. However, people need enough mana to imagine something higher tier to apply them to magic, so not everyone can go beyond their imagination boundary because of their limited mana, to imagine something upgraded you need to add more layers to magic. However, what Alex did was the imagination was in the same number of layers but he add and subtract and add the line of the diagram which made the pattern look sharp that made the magic meaningful to them, he didn't put an extra layer of imaginary line or diagram.
So, it was in the range of Travis's imaginary power, and because he knows the pattern of the Salamander magic he can copy this magic easily. He throw the salamander magic again, however, the color of the fire was deeper than before, and not only that the fire was spinning, the fire hit the dummy.
Everyone looked at the fire with awe. Because the orange tint in the iron was visible to everyone's eyes. Not only that, this was the first time they saw that fire salamander's tongue magic can spin like that. It was as if the tongue of a salamander was spinning. So, overall everyone was impressed by this change. Not only do they see it, those who can use it, but they also apply that as soon as they thought about it.
"Wow, guys, this pattern just changes the up and down of the strength of the magic. The mana I use in it was same, however the output power was many time higher than the basic salamander magic."
One girl said with an excited voice.
"Not only that, you can use this magic's spinning effect to break the defense."
A boy said while analyzing the magic. Everyone was making fuse about it and commenting how good it was. Of course, they will, but because of their strength boundary they cannot use strong magic, so, what the professor teach them was something that can change their battle strength to a whole new level. They understand how that guy, Zulkarnine became so strong... Because he practiced directly under Professor Alex.
