"Great, now try those wings out, come to me."
I start flapping my wings to gain a bit of height, I thought it would maybe be difficult but the movements come naturally to me, perks of being a fairy I guess.
I spend a bit of time to learn how to properly fly around and then go towards miss green hair.
"Good job, now follow me, we are going to see the eldest fairy of the forest, she will give you a name."
"Oh and by the way, I'm Elly, and I'll take care of you until you become an adult." and with this, she slowly flew off in a direction.
Thankfully she went slow enough for me to follow, looks like I will need a lot of training to go at the same speed she showed last night.
We flew through the forest and I marvelled at my surroundings, vibrant flowers of all colors, lush green vegetation, birds chirping, rabbits jumping around...
After a moment, we reached an area with less trees, I guessed it was our destination seeing as many other fairies were here, all of them were different.
Some were big and some were small, the colors of their wings and their hair varying for each of them, even the shapes of the wings were different, some looked insect-like like me, some vegetal like Elly, and some feathery or even leathery.
The difference in clothing seemed important too, the more young looking fairies were all wearing the same white toga whereas the adult looking ones seemed free to wear whatever they wanted.
It was at this moment that I realised that I was still in my birthday suit, I wasn't really embarassed for some reason but I'd still like to cover myself up sooner than later.
As I thought that, we reached what looked like our destination, in front of us stood a big tree that looked like it had fused with the house next to it.
The house in itself was pretty unremakable, only being made of a dark brown wood and with windows here and there.
"Well, here we are, I can't accompany you inside due to rules but don't worry, good old Alka is kind, she won't do anything to you."
"Go on now, enter." said Elly while opening the door.
Well... let's go then, to be honest I want to have a name, I mean, I can call myself "I" forever and there wouldn't be any problems with that but being called "you" every time is a bit annoying.
I enter the house through the opened door and look around inside, I am in the living room with some simple but sturdy furniture like the table and the three chairs around it, there are flowers everywhere, spreding a nice scent in the room, all in all, it looks old but tidy except for the white pile in one corner of the room.
Sat in one of the chairs is Alka, she has black hair and eyes, she looks at me gently, like a mother looking at her child, she is wearing a black frilly dress with silvery seams covering her whole body except the bottom of her legs, her wings look like the kind you would find on bats, although completely white.
"Oh my, one of the newborns is already here? That was one of the fastest time since bloom I've ever seen, and your wings aren't rushed, they're done the proper way, good job."
"Now, to give you a name, hmmm...we're on the 1412 year of Ludos...the night of the bloom was particularly starry...how about Suma?"
"What do you think about Suma being your name little one?"
I like that, I don't know why but I like it, I nodded positively to Alka.
"Good, good, come little Suma, let's get you some clothes, you can't keep on going around like that."
She got up and walked towards the white pile of what I now knew were clothes and pickup one white toga up.
"Here, let me put this on you."
Seeing no problem with it, I got closer to Alka and then let her do her thing.
Only an instant after and I was wearing the sleeveless white toga going below my knees, it suited me perfectly as if it was made with my exact size in mind, my wings also seemed to just pass through the fabric without being hindered.
"These clothes are magical, they will allways fit you no matter how much you grow, now loot at yourself in this mirror" Said Alka before summoning a mirror out of thin air.
I was amazed at how she created a whole mirror instantly and it must've shown on my face because she said this.
"Don't look this surprised like I used a high-level spell, it's only a base level cantrip that you'll learn sooner than later in the coming months."
Nodding positively and calming myself, I then proceeded to look at myself in the magic mirror and saw my reflection, I look like a flying baby with dark magenta and butterfly-shaped wings in a white toga giving a pure vide and with some tufts of silver hair starting to grow on my head, my face looked a bit too sharp for my age though, my lilac eyes brimmed with curiosity to discover everything, my skin was fair and white all around.
All in all, if I needed to describe myself with one word, I'd choose "cute".
"Pretty right? you're cute enough that an old bat like me would've adopted you were I younger and without duties, talking about that, go with Elly now, you made her wait long enough already and I feel I'm soon gonna be flooded with your sisters."
How did she knew it was Elly who brought me here? She only opened the door for me and did not even see Alka, weird.
Anyways, I wave at Alka and fly off towards the exit of her house.
"Take care little Suma, I'm sure we'll see each other again soon enough."
Once out I feel more at ease with the sun shining on me, Elly is waiting sat on the grass near the the door, for some reason I want to throw myself at her, and so I do, I speed up my flight, spread out my arms to grab her and then launch myself.
She doesn't even see me until it is too late and I've already grabbed her, unfortunately I'm too light to push her to the ground like I wanted, well no real problem with this.
She responds to my surprise attack by hugging me and kissing my head.
"Well aren't you one cute little fairy, I won't let you go now that I have you in my arms."
We played around for a moment with Elly hugging me, patting my head, kissing my forehead etc before I started to get get tired.
"Oh, I see you're getting a bit drowsy, I really wanted to hear your name today but got a bit carried away playing with you, well no matter, I'll teach you fae tomorrow, for now I'm gonna bring you to the newborns dormitories, feel free to look around while I fly."
On those words she put me in her arms like last night and began to move with some speed, I once again looked around during the flight and saw more fairies and houses this time, some of the fairies were even looking at me with surprise for some reason.
I even saw some plant ladies and big living tree men, they seemed to be talking with the fairies near them, I really want to know more about them, especially the walking trees, I wonder when I'll be able to satisfy my curiosity...
One thing is sure though, it's not going to be today, I feel myself slip into the embrace of Morpheus before even seeing the dormitories Elly talked about, that's a bit disappointing but there's always tomorrow to look forward to.

I open my eyes and see a familiar face and an unfamiliar ceiling above me.
"Good morning, did you sleep well, you were very tired yesterday, falling asleep even before reaching our destination."
I nod, I feel really refreshed now, this night was more relaxing than the last one and I attribute all of that to the fluffy bed under me, it's so comfy I want to stay in it forever, my dreams are quickly broken when Elly grabs me off though.
"Ah those newborns, all the same, you put them in a bed once and they never want to get up, well sorry but I won't have that, you've got to learn how to speak and a name to tell me."
"But before that, let's get you something to eat, even if fairies can stave off hunger for a long time you need to eat in order to grow, plus you must be feeling a bit hungry after two days without anything right?"
I think about trying to break free to go back in the bed but I feel the slight pain in my stomach and I'm forced to concede to Elly this time, I nod at her and let myself be carried away from the fluff heaven.
We soon reach the outside of the building and in front of us are many tables, most of which are already filled with my sisters and their caretakers, Elly walks towards a table, sits there with me on her knees and then calls another fairy who brings a bowl of what looks like turquoise water.
Elly then use a spoon to feed me the turquoise water, it doesn't have any real taste by I still somehow like it, it's also very filling and I feel bloated when the whole bowl is finished.
By then most of the caretakers have gone in different directions and only those who came after us are still here.
Elly carries me as I feel too heavy to fly and she goes under the shade of a tree, there she puts me down on the grass and then starts to teach me fae.
I must admit that I'm not as good at learning a language compared to things magic related, thankfully, Elly is a good teacher and I slowly start to get the hang of it.
After a moment, I feel confident enough to say what I wanted since I've left Alka's house, I look at Elly right in the eyes and speak.
"Elly, my name is Suma, please take care of me."
