Chapter 9 - Beautiful Adonis.

The smirk departed from his face and he smiled again, that wicked charming smile of his. If not that he was really handsome, he would have been the devil and not a king.

But to Wren, he was the devil, which kept her wondering whether the devil was handsome or not?.

Nevertheless, Tyler Sanders was still the devil sent on earth and his mission on earth was to make Wren's life miserable for her.

But since everyone worshiped him like a king, he was still king, especially mostly to the girls who saw him as one. Wren absolutely didn't see him that way.

Wren didn't see him as king at all, he wasn't king for her, kings cared for their subjects, but he didn't. In short sentences. He was just a bully preying on the weak, just like a predator does to its prey. Just like he does to her.

Tyler Sanders was the predator and she was his prey, as always, every single day of her life.

He took his hands off her desk and sat on it, right in front of Wren who bowed her head and raised it immediately to meet his eyes, those striking electric emerald green eyes of his.

She bowed again immediately and raised her face to meet his eyes. She had to do so in order to avoid his wrath, if she didn't look at him. That would be a problem and if she looks at him straight into his eyes too, that would be a problem too.

Those were among the rules and regulations he gave her, which she had no other choice than to obey in order to survive in Weston high.

He brushed his hand through his silver curly hair, and if not for the fact the both of them were enemies. Wren would have joined the other females in the class with their 'oh' sound everytime he does that.

Tyler Sander was such a beautiful Adonis, if there was any other word that was more than beautiful. Tyler Sanders earned it all, with his pretty face and everything.

Wren wouldn't lie, she's crushing on him too just like the other females does, but with the way he hated and bullied her only, in the entire school made her hate him.

"You left too early today without me, daddy's little bunny, or do you hate me that much?" Tyler asked and Wren's heart almost skipped a beat. Even without looking around the class, she knew all eyes were on her.

Mostly, the females. What has she ever done to them?. Tyler was the cause of everything, if only he could leave her alone then, she wouldn't be bullied by the other females too, who felt like she was stealing their crush away from them.

In Weston high, Wren had no say. She always does like the others tell her to do, for her to survive in Weston high.

"Ohh, please just go away" Wren murmured through gritted teeth and swallowed hard. What was she going to say to him now?. It's not like they went to school together or something, they weren't a couple.

Wren knew Tyler was just looking for a way to trouble her day but she wasn't going to give him an opportunity to find one.

The fact that the both of them lived under the same roof which she really hated, but  had to endure because Tyler's father was the only one who took her in and trained her when her both parents abandoned her.

That was the story she was told whenever she asked, due to the fact she couldn't remember any memory from her childhood. She wouldn't blame her parents who abandoned her, after all who wouldn't be ashamed to have a pup who was wolf-less?.

"I asked you a question?" Wren's face lifted to meet his as he pressed on with his questions. She saw how his brows furrowed questionly and if she wasted more time again without answering his question.

He was going to keep on pestering her till she talked and she really needed him to leave her alone.

"You told me the both of us aren't to be seen together in school, so I left earlier before you" She fixed her gaze on the window once again. Her heart was beating so fast and rapidly that she could actually hear it.

She was sure Tyler could hear it too with the way he was staring at her, a murderous glint flashed through his emerald eyes as he smiled after Wren answered him.

Tyler Sanders was just too unpredictable, Wren could never predict him. He could be friendly to her today and the next day he becomes cold to her. She pondered deeply on what kind of creature he was and the name of planet he came from?.

He could never come from planet, earth.

"Is that how to answer my question?" His brows lifted questionly again, and he pulled Wren's chin forcefully for her face to meet his, Wren winced in pain but pretended as if she felt nothing and then their eyes met with each other.

Wren gulped while Tyler smirked.

He knew he was hurting her, due to the way her face contorted but he didn't give a damn, that was the price she was paying for snatching the fatherly love his father once had for him and now it was hers.

Tyler could still remember that night uncle Adams brought in a stranger to their house who happened to be Wren even though it happened years ago, he still could remember the night clearly and could never forget.

He told his uncle, Adams, he didn't like her but his uncle didn't listen to him and now his uncle, Adams, has gone to only heavens knows where for years now.

He could now finally treat Wren the way he likes without anyone stopping him but that evil plan of his got squashed into pieces the day his father suddenly started showering Wren love after uncle Adams left, which irked him.

Tyler could still remember the day his father wasn't at home, and he pushed Wren out of the house for her to return to where she came from when they were still little, but unfortunately for him.

His father returned the moment he was pushing her out of the house. And he could remember clearly, the way his father hit him, all because of Wren.

Since that day, his father started calling her bunny. He was his father's child but Wren came in all of a sudden and stole the love his father once had for him.

So she was going to pay for it. He bullied her mostly in school due to the fact he wouldn't dare touch her at home unless he wanted his father to skin him alive.

His hand worked its way around her cheeks, and Wren darted her eyes over to the side and saw how all eyes were on her. She could see the color draining off the faces of some females in the class but that wasn't what she cared about.

What she cared about right now was what Tyler was going to do to her. She was sure she responded to his question slowly and her tone wasn't hostile or something but whatever she does, Tyler Sanders found fault in her.

"No, I forgot to put king at the last sentence" She responded, nodding her head like a toddler given free candy. Those were also among the rules and regulations he gave her.

She must call him king whenever she was answering his questions or talking to him.

Tyler sighed and let go of her chin but not without pinching it. Wren winced silently in pain and rubbed her chin but there was nothing she could do. She can't fight back.

Tyler got up from her desk, leaning closer to her ears and whispered.

"I'm not done with you, yet".
