"Go hide under that black desk and no matter what happens, do not come out till papa comes to find you. Okay?" Little Wren nodded positively as Allen brought her down from his arms and gave her an assuring smile, that everything is going to be okay.
After getting released from Allen's arms, little Wren did just as she was told. She swiftly ran to hide under the desk. She also tried to peep, to know if Allen was going to be able to defeat the evil bizarre monster that came for them. But couldn't, because she was too scared and forced her eyes shut tightly.
She could clearly hear the sounds of punches and pained groans filling the room even though she covered her ears. Little Wren could only wish for that pained groaning to be coming from the monster and not Allen that was trying to protect her, but that wasn't the case.
