"I didn't hear you, I got an earpiece plugged into my ears" Wren defended herself, taking off the earpiece that was in her ears, that Quinn failed to observe and started bullying her.
Initially, Wren did hear Quinn call her name but chose to ignore her, knowing she was probably calling her to find trouble. Since looking for trouble is Quinn's hubby.
