Lord Six narrowed his eyes and continued to attack. He channeled his internal energy and a powerful energy burst out from his sword heading towards Zhao Ling.
Zhao Ling flicked her wrist and the ribbon retreated and started to twirl around her.
Lord Six was taken aback by Zhao Ling's sudden move. He watched as the ribbon twisted and turned, forming a protective barrier around her. As he swung his sword towards her, he felt the resistance of the red halo and heard the sound of the impact. The attack was nullified, and he stumbled backwards, surprised.
Zhao Ling stood her ground, her eyes focused on Lord Six.
Lord Six realized that he underestimated Zhao Ling and her abilities. He knew that he had to be careful and not let his guard down. He charged towards her again, his sword pointed at her.
