Tiana's POV.
What the hell just happened?
I whip at my wet face looking around trying to figure out where the water might have come from. I turn my gaze in the dimly lit room to the left side of my bed. Amber eyes were staring blankly at me.
I don't know what went through my mind at the moment I just found myself screaming and leaping off the bed. But my luck is always shitty, you can guess what happened next; the pain in my abdomen shot up, my legs got tangled up in the sheets making me fall face first but luckily I was caught before I hit the ground.
" Tiana! It's me, Jessica," she said holding me by my shoulders tightly. Realisation made me stop my protest, am sure I've woken up the entire house by now and by that I mean my mum.
" Jess? Oow," I groaned as she helped me back into the bed. After finally sitting in a comfortable position, I smiled at her before screwing up my face when my drenched clothing came to mind.
" WHAT THE BUTT JESS?!!" I exclaimed loudly before mentally cursing myself at the pain I just caused myself. What happened to me? Everything is hazzy.
She was shell shocked till I gestured to my wet clothing. " What was this for?" Realization dawned on her face making her glare at me," I was desperately trying to wake you from your very obvious wet dream. Fucking the guy next door!" She threw her hands in the air.
I was confused for a second until the memory of the dream crushed down on me. My heart clenched as the sexual haze came back to me in full force and what Jess just said made sense. " Nex..xt door?" I gulped clenching at my wet tank top. A nod from her was my reply making me have a mini heart attack, she was about to add to my pressing un-spoken question when a knock came at my bedroom door cutting her off.
" Hello? Girls is everything okay?" A deep silky male voice asked from the other side of the door. My heart instantly speed up at the realisation of whom it belonged to.
Raphael.
But what is he doing here? My tran of thoughts was cut off when he asked," Is Tia okay?" He just called me Tia! It sounded so good rolling off his tongue; making me love my name more. Wait what is he even doing here?
" Yes!" Jess replied in annoyance. Incoherent words were spoken behind the door by two different voices and I instantly knew my mother was up. I took the opportunity to ask," W..why is h..he he..re?" I was breathless all of a sudden making me take deep breaths. " His here because of you," she replied.
That made my heart flatter in my chest heat creeping up my neck threating to spill over my facial features.
I saw a hurt expression pass in her eyes which confused me more. But before I could inquire the door was opened and in walked my mother, tailing behind her the man of the hour; Raphael.
" Oh baby your awake," my mum said cupping my facing before placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. " I'll go get you a new shirt," Jess excused herself looking sad. Does she like Raphael? But what about her boyfriend, Justin? Are things over between them? Thinking about it made me realize that I haven't heard much about him since the party from her, is there something she's hiding from me?
I'll make sure to bring it up?
" Argh, Tiana why are you wet?" My mum asked her face in a grimace. " She was having a nightmare and I had no other way of waking her up," Jess said and I mentally thanked her; giving her a small smile.
" There back?" My mother asked sounding worried.
" It wasn't about him mum," I said recalling what " him" did to me. A cold draft suddenly brushed past my skin making me shiver at the memory.
" Do you want to talk about it?" She asked.
" No!" I said louder than I anticipated making my mother jump. " Sorry. I meant, no.." I corrected.
" Why?" She asked raising an eyebrow at me. I turned my gaze to look over her shoulder at the shirtless guy standing by the door, a smug look playing on his face. His right shoulder was pressed to the door frame, his arms crossed over his hard chest. His left leg crossed over his right knee; his toes acting as a stand. I turned back to look at his face finding knowing smirk playing on his face. Does he know about my dream?
Tiana your being paranoid.
" Tiana!" His deep voice calling my name knocked my pending thoughts away. I raised an eyebrow at him," your mum is talking to you", he replied chuckling. I blushed," oh, right. Sorry mum, you were saying?" I turned my gaze to hers trying to fight my flaming face.
" Never mind," she rolled her eyes," change up and rest. Will talk in the morning," She said getting up.
" And you," she pointed at Raphael who gave her a wide smile. " Don't you know something called a shirt," I giggled," your clearly distracting my daughter," I chocked on my spit," mum!"
Raphael chuckled. " I know you like him Tiana," she said glaring at me. I was still choking violently," just have safe sex okay I don't want grandchildren," she winked at me. Raphael was clearly enjoying this, she then turned to him. He immediately got serious," ware a shirt". She scolded before leaving me in a very awkward state; my face was flaming.
" I will," he called out to her," in the min time". He pushed his massive body off the door frame his eyes burning into me; his voice carrying a seductive flare as he directed it to me.
" How are you feeling sweetheart?" I gulped. Sweetheart? I looked everywhere but at him my eyes locking with Jess. She had a grimace playing on her face, but why? Does she even know that she's doing that? I gulped again when I felt a finger under my chin turning my gaze to look at two green orbs. " How are you feeling?" He asked again. He was sitting at my bed side, the mare closeness was giving me a heart attack.
I turn my gaze to Jess then but to his. " I'm fine," I answer bluntly. He nods before getting up," you change, I'll see you in a few hours". With that he walked out.
I changed quickly right after and returned to my bed. Jess was oddly silent, facing away from me.
