Clarence, as usual, had a much greater speed than his peers, he was easily able to catch up to the tiger who had gotten a head start before resuming to harass it with his attacks.
And it worked, the tiger was getting slower and slower, allowing the rest of Clarence's group to catch up.
That's when a surprising thing happened, the tiger quickly turned around and made a gesture of bowing, momentarily making everyone wonder if they were seeing the right thing.
Just then, an even more surprising thing took place, they saw the tiger opening his mouth and out of it came some barely coherent words,
"Pl.. please.. me.. no.. harm.. me go.. leave.. me?"
The voice could be said to have sounded like twelve year old's if compared to the voices of the kids of humanoid races.
"Kill it."
Clarence said, while looking at Bernard, whose hands were already losing their violent crimson hue on the urging of Valentina, who instead snapped her head towards Clarence.
