Chapter 13 - Fighting the sinister Blaze Immortals
BOOM!
A wave carrying immense destructive power suddenly surfaced when Princess Ethena's superhumanly-tough fist connected with that of a particular Blaze Immortal who had arrived in front of her. And this wave was exceptionally powerful that it first sounded out like an actual world-splintering thunderbolt, where it caused thousands of feet of earth far below to shake intensely and invoked the frightening feeling in everyone that it will rupture and break apart into tens of millions of fragments, swallowing everything and everyone up. Furthermore, on manifestation of the shockingly destructive wave, the numerous large clouds suspended in the sky immediately cleared up to reveal a boundless and vast cloudless sky.
But because they were both at a very high altitude in the sky, the humans watching the battle in great awe and marvel from below, weren't terribly affected by the horrifying rippling wave that surfaced, since even the numerous tallest buildings erected close to the vast trading ground only trembled hard for sometime with many cracks appearing in their huge, towering structures. So, that was how Princess Ethena tried to stop the disastrous power possessed by the shockwaves that will manifest continuously from their tyrannically powerful clashes from destroying the hundreds of lives and properties below.
However, Aerracles who could immediately perceive that the Blaze Immortals who now understood that Princess Ethena surprisingly cared for the lives and properties of the mortals below, contemplated that they might want to use that to their advantage with the sole intent of heavily suppressing her and delivering their ultimate killing strike so as to annihilate her.
Then very quickly, he shouted, "Everyone, leave here at once! Their next attacks will surely be directed towards us all."
Immediately he said that, where he instantly caused the fountain of fear and horror to erupt massively in the hearts of everyone, all the humans gathered below began to leave the trading ground very quickly at the highest speeds that they could physically achieve.
"Aerracles, what about you? Let's go!" Sharon who was utterly concerned about Aerracles's safety, shouted that at him from far away with great worry in her eyes which was filled with excessive fright.
Aerracles heard that and only smiled.
Then with a single step where he employed his uncanny distance-crossing power, he instantly arrived before her like he had teleported, causing Sharon to be dazed beyond measure.
Then softly placing a hand on her shoulder, he said calmly, "Please leave with your son. When the battle has come to end, I will surely come to find you people. But first, you two should leave this place and head for somewhere safe. I mean, somewhere really far away from here. Go with your horse-drawn carriage. Now!"
Sharon immediately exited her entranced state because of the teleportation-like mystical feat that Aerracles effortlessly pulled earlier and aggressively nodded her head in agreement.
However, her mind was still roiling in serious awe because of the stunning, spectacular power that Aerracles displayed a few moments ago.
Then immediately turning around and pulling her heavily-dazed son, Jake along with her by his right arm, they arrived before their horse-drawn carriage and quickly entered into it. Then a second after they had entered into their carriage, the horse singly pulling the carriage neighed in response to the whip that it received and immediately shot off in the direction of the trading ground's massive gate.
Now, Sharon's aim was to go really far away from here so that the earth-rupturing shockwaves that will manifest from the terrific battles going on in the sky, wouldn't cascade down below like a waterfall and annihilate both her and son.
Once they had left, Aerracles produced a relieved smile in his face. Of course he wouldn't want anything bad to happen to his favorite humans. So, after seeing that they were drawing farther and farther away from the trading ground every second using his powerful vision that could see into the far distance like an actual powerful telescope, he broke a delighted grin in his face. He then looked up at the sky at Princess Ethena to see how she was faring against the Blaze Immortals who were currently having an intense all-out battle with her.
As for Kyrill who saw what Aerracles did, he couldn't help but immediately grow towering, great anger and the suffocating intent for evilness in his stone-cold heart.
"How dare you, you filthy and measly Angel?!!" He shouted in a way that his voice seemingly caused the entire sky to shake and instantly conjured up the feeling in Aerracles that the sky could actually explode into countless fragments to reveal the vast and infinitely-expansive, pitch-black void.
Aerracles heard that and only broke a wide, mocking smile in his face.
However, he knew that since he had caused them to lose one of their major victory cards in this battle, he comprehended that the Blaze Immortals will become excessively wrathful and then come to obliterate him too. But he wasn't frightened of them, since he patiently waited below for them so that he could show them his power and might.
Ethena who was presently engaged in an intense life-or-death battle with a few of the Blaze Immortals, smiled inwardly when she noticed what Aerracles had done to somewhat support her in her battle against the Blaze Immortals.
'He is actually not that bad after all.' She said inwardly in approval as she continued to exchange immensely powerful strikes of condensed divinely power with the few Blaze Immortals that she was beginning to surprisingly overwhelm, despite the numbers attacking her all at once.
Kyrill who was vexed to the extreme, suddenly aimed a palm downwards at Aerracles and instantly manifested a blinding, mountain-sized spear of dark blue flame that shot towards Aerracles at a shocking speed.
While Aerracles who wouldn't back down from any fight as he was a superior-class, peak-tier Warring Angel that pleasurably enjoyed throwing himself into all kinds of battles to learn new things about himself or his abilities, as there was earnestly no end to learning for him or making new discoveries about himself, and to actually prove his worth, strength and might to Princess Ethena who he deeply adored so much and strongly craved for her to be his, immediately shot up as a streak of intense golden light towards the colossal, dark-blue burning spear shooting towards him at an unbelievable speed.
BOOM!!
He smashed the right fist of his incomparably tough arms straight into the blazing solid spear as soon as he arrived before it and instantly caused a deafening, ear-aching boom sound to ring out and spread out in all directions.
But because Aerracles was tremendously physically powerful than the gigantic fiery spear, immediately his fist hit the horrifyingly sharp and scalding tip of the burning colossal spear, the spear rapidly developed countless cracks in it entire structure before breaking apart in the form of an actual explosion in the next second into uncountable fragments that littered the horizon as billions of floating, deep-blue sparks.
While Aerracles who seemed physically unstoppable and bizarrely powerful, continued to fly with his pair of massive golden wings towards Kyrill to face him and take him down. He understood that once he slew Kyrill, the rest of the Blaze Immortals will certainly flee. However, he wouldn't let that to happen, as he was one who will entirely slay every adversary that would try to hurt him or someone that he had in mind.
Then when he arrived before Kyrill who only looked at him scornfully and spitefully, Aerracles produced a somewhat devilish grin in his face and simply rushed out like a cannonball towards him with his powerful hand clenched into a fist once again. Now, he was absolutely ready to reduce the face of Kyrill into a really gory mess, no matter what it would take.
