Chapter 9 - Threatened?
The moment he said that, the mystifying unseen force accompanying the voice that imperceptibly rang out from him, struck into both the Young Master and the guards and knocked them flying into the distance like they were tiny shreds of ribbon caught in a fiercely raging wind. While the words that Aerracles mentioned, rang in a rather deafening manner in both their ears and minds, causing them to be strongly disorientated.
So, without any words or voice heard by anyone, the arrogant and sly Young Master and the body guards that stood gallantly behind him with ferocious, combat-ready looks in their faces, were knocked flying away like actual kites that had their strings broken.
Then as for the large crowds of people watching how the tense event occurring between Aerracles and the immensely annoying Young Master will really play out, they couldn't help but be strongly awed when the young master and his guards were suddenly sent flying for several dozens of feet through the air like they were catapulted or shot from a bow.
"Wh-What just happened to those people?" Someone from one of the numerous stalls with a deeply baffled look in his face, asked with great curiosity in his voice when the Young Master and his men were projected away like actual broken kites.
"Same here too. I can't understand nor explain what just happened. But I feel that something unseen to us struck into that Young Master and his men." Another who heard what that person just said, spoke to the others around him with a bewildered expression in his face. He also couldn't fathom or digress what just happened.
Then just like that, all sorts of discussions immediately erupted from everywhere on the large trading ground.
...
Many seconds later after being knocked away by that unseen force backing Aerracles's uttered words to a distance of more than twelve feet away, the Young Master after recollecting himself, finally stood to his feet after much struggle. He then looked venomously at Aerracles from where he shakily stood and then shouted with seemingly unbounded anger in his voice, "This isn't over! My people will look for you and surely cut you up into pieces!! You damned sorcerer!"
Aerracles heard that and only shook his head with the understanding that he had been quite impulsive back there. He should have thought deeply of more ways of settling this without using just a sliver of anyone of the numerous, catastrophic divinely powers that he possessed.
However, he knew that people wouldn't really suspect him to be anything, as nobody will be able to lay a finger on what happened back there. They will only find the event mysterious and unexplainable.
Still looking at the young master with a thoughtful expression in his face, he suddenly turned around to face the crowd looking at him with slight suspicious gazes in their eyes.
He then said with an awry smile manifesting in his lips, "This annoying and brazen young man that abuses the wealth and power he possesses to torment the weak, helpless and defenseless, has surely got blood clotting in several areas of his brain"
"I don't think he understands what he is saying anymore."
"Folks, do I look like a sorcerer to you? Did you by any mean notice me weaving spells with my fingers, or uttering incantations with my mouth?"
"I have no hand in what happened to him earlier. However, I think that it could be the forces of the universe trying to suppress him for his continued, evil ways. Only the world knows what he had done many times in the past to deserve the shocking and inexplicable, preternatural event that happened to him earlier."
Once Aerracles said that, where he tried to convince the many people looking at him that he had no hand in what happened to the young master earlier, he said further now gazing contemptuously at the Young Master, "Young Master, you should leave here at once to tend to yourself. You might have sustained many internal injuries from the hard impact of your body against the bare solid ground."
Once Aerracles said that, where it seemed like he was concerned about the well-being of the young master, the young master who heard that, couldn't help but think of it as a huge threat that may possibly reap off his life.
So very quickly, probably due to the unbridled horror that had crept up his fragile mind, he immediately turned around and walked away with his guards quickly following behind him to where he parked his expensive, grand carriage. But as he did so, he turned his head several times to hatefully stare at Aerracles who only smiled at him with an indescribable gaze in his eyes that glittered under the sun's intense illumination.
'He's finally gone.' Aerracles said and heaved a sigh of relief within himself.
Earlier, he was thinking that the young master will be adamant and unwilling to leave and might possibly force him to reveal more of his previous, covertly-unleashed powers, therefore causing him to lose his cover to the massive crowds of people intentionally watching him with suspicious eyes.
Once the young master had gone, Aerracles turned to look at Sharon who was gazing at him and said with a smile in his face, "Mrs, you can please continue with what you were doing. I believe that after this, no one will come here to disturb us again."
"O-Okay." Sharon who wasn't expecting Aerracles to catch her gazing in a rather inexplicable manner at him, abruptly said in a slight stuttering manner.
She then resumed what she was doing by trying to politely call out to potential customers to come buy any of the numerous, fresh fruit and herb items that were beautifully arrayed around her stall.
...
"I believe you all felt what that person did to us, right?" The Young Master called Williams, questioned his guards as they walked to where his expensive, high-powered carriage was parked at the trading ground to return home.
Right now, what was in his mind was revenge; revenge for the public embarrassment and total humiliation that Aerracles put him through by some means that he couldn't quite understand yet, and was the sole reason he called Aerracles a sorcerer back there since that could be the only logical explanation for what Aerracles did to him in a rather secretive manner.
"Yes, Young Master Williams. We also experienced what you experienced. I heard this thunderously rumbling and overwhelming voice in both my head and ears. Then before I could even come out of the strongly bedazzled state that I was abruptly hurled into and think of why that had suddenly occurred to me, I felt this powerful, suppressive, but unseen vicious force engulf my entire being and blast me away like I was nothing. If that force wanted to destroy us, it surely wouldn't take it anything." Another guard said while all the guards nodded their heads in agreement to what he mentioned.
"Hmm. Well, that bastard wouldn't really dare to kill us in public. He would be instantly burnt to ashes right where he stood." William said with utter hatred in his eyes as he remembered the terrible humiliation that Aerracles caused him.
He then climbed into his grand-looking carriage with his men immediately following behind him. Then as soon as they were all settled in the carriage, the powerful locomotive engine that moved the carriage, started with a deep, running engine noise and started to move. While the driver operating the carriage, skillfully steered it in the direction that it will go, which was the imposing and magnificent home of the Young Master Williams.
