Chapter 25 - The Announcement (II)
Immediately they got to that altitude in the sky, Aerracles instantly closed his eyes. While Ethena who floated by his side and calmly watched him, allowed him to focus so that he could unleash the mysterious projection sphere that he had intention of manifesting.
A second after Aerracles closed his eyes and opened them back, what could be seen in them were shiny, abstruse golden symbols.
Then the moment these indecipherable lustrous symbols appeared in his eyes, a sphere of intense golden light suddenly erupted from his entire body and engulfed Ethena who floated beside him.
As soon as the sphere which looked like an actual membrane from within surfaced and enveloped the both of them, Ethena who was within the sphere, began to hear the millions of unique sounds that once rang when Aerracles first unleashed the sphere to powerfully augment her scream and pull the attention of the outlawed Immortals that were scattered in numerous faraway cities all over the World of Mortals towards them.
Then she said within herself with an expression of profound astonishment appearing in her face, 'What entrancing and fascinating music. Is this a phenomenon produced by the projection sphere itself?'
She couldn't help but ask that within herself when the millions of peculiar sounds that she heard ring out continuously at once from within the membrane-like sphere, were surprisingly in harmony with one another to form a kind of grandly orchestrated music that will produce the definite feeling in anyone that innumerable numbers of people were playing every sort of musical instruments all at once and in perfect consonance or coherence with one another.
After releasing the sphere, Aerracles looked at Ethena and nodded his head at her. While Ethena who immediately understood what the nod meant, opened her mouth to scream.
"Mortals of this world, we are Deities that have descended into this plane from other worlds to oversee it affairs and protect everyone of you inhabiting it from the destruction and carnage of other ignorant and arrogant, beastly Deities out there." Ethena shouted with the thunderous echoes of her discernible shout sweeping across every corner of the massive world and impacting the ears of countless numbers of people that resided in cities, towns, villages, caves and minor sparse settlements located all over the world.
She then shouted further, "Those Deities that arrived earlier from the Immortal World and chose to wreak great havoc here, have been completely wiped out by myself and my companion. And we will see it to it with full effect that none of the destruction caused previously by them will ever occur again."
"Since we have chosen this place to be both out resting place and planetary home, we will do everything in our power to protect your lands, seas and oceans, animals, properties and above all, lives from being stepped upon by those vexatious and proud, dastardly entities that will arrive in this world from other worlds to cause great degree of devastation. That's our unbreakable and unfailing promise to you for deciding to reside in your beautiful world."
"Now that those Immortals have been slain with their strewn corpses lying here and there on the surface of the earth, everyone of you can return to what you were previously doing before their alarming, exceedingly frightful arrival. If you need to sleep, go back to sleep with total calmness in your heart. If you need to eat, go do so with great delight in your heart. Just go back to whatever you were doing without being worried about anything suddenly appearing to attack you with it rather mighty strength and power. You are all in safe hands now. That's a vow." Ethena said.
She then looked at Aerracles who effortlessly understood her gaze.
Then a second later, the massive golden sphere that enveloped their figures, instantly disappeared. While the golden profound symbols in Aerracles's eyes rapidly faded away with his eyes immediately reverting to normal.
"It is done." Ethena said with a smile in her face while Aerracles agreeably nodded his head.
Then they both descended to the ground from that altitude in the sky.
Once they landed a few feet before the solid clay house that belonged to Sharon, many other villagers in the village that witnessed the hugely astounding, sky-shaking battle that occurred many moments ago in the sky from the windows of their homes, slowly summoned up courage to go meet them and thank them for protecting their lives and houses from the unimaginably destructive attacks that could be unceasingly unleashed by the Immortals that had arrived in their world with the intent to cause unmatched devastation everywhere.
"Folks, it's okay. No need to thank us for anything. Besides, we just couldn't seat by and do nothing as those arrogant and bestial fools caused destruction everywhere." Aerracles said after being flanked on all sides by the villagers who came to seriously thank him and Ethena for the massive amounts of help that they selflessly and liberally rendered to them.
However, even after saying that, the mortals got on their knees and began to thank them with greatly appreciative gazes in their eyes.
"Ugh!" Aerracles uttered in slight displease and was about to say something when Ethena stopped him with a beautiful smile in her face and said, "Aerracles, leave them to show their appreciation. Or it won't be nice of us to disband them just like that."
"Hmm. Alright then." Aerracles said with the understanding nod of his head.
Just as he finished nodding, many excited kids with strongly curious expressions in their faces, suddenly broke loose from the actual tight grips of their parents and dashed towards both Aerracles and Ethena.
Then when they arrived in front of them with their parents becoming slightly scared and immediately rushing out towards them to drag them away from the glorious, celestial-looking people standing uprightly in their midst, Aerracles said with a smile in his face to the worried parents that had abruptly rushed out towards their children to pull them away, "It's fine. Let them be. Besides, I won't bite just because they want to talk to me. Haha."
Aerracles then looked at the little kids standing with deeply adoring and respectful eyes in front of him and gently asked, "So, kids, what do you want from me or want me to say? If you don't mention what's in your heart to me, I won't be able to really satisfy them."
"What's your name?" A little girl immediately asked once Aerracles mentioned that.
"My name's Aerracles. Any other thing you would like to know?" Aerracles answered and followed with a question before softly grinning.
"How are you so powerful?" The little girl who seemed ready to bombard Aerracles with thousands of questions, asked speedily before others could try to ask their questions.
"Well, I am this powerful because I am a Deity. And to be precise, I am a winged deity from the Angel World. So, that makes me an Angel."
"Now, all Deities are powerful because they have sets of abilities that make them seem mighty, enormously strong and hugely dreadful." Aerracles answered with a smile in his face.
Then just like that, Aerracles and Ethena began to answer the questions of the curious little kids one after the other before eventually retiring to their room several hours later for the night. And this time, Ethena chose to stay in Aerracles's room where she lied on top of him with Aerracles's powerful arms intimately wrapped around her waist, who then gladly inhaled the different, great flowery scents that constantly emitted from her spotless and elegant, attractively-shaped body.
