(this will be my only trigger warning in this story just to remind people that it will contain gore, violence and other adult themes)
I opened the gates and hid myself the enemy soldiers were flooding into the city but luckily did exactly as I expected they broke off into splinter groups.
As soon as the last person who I assumed was the commander entered the city I closed the gates I wasn't going to run through the streets like the other soldiers I was going to hold the gate.
These people were either going to kill us all or all be hunted down like animals unless they earnestly surrendered there is no inbetween.
By hold the gates I mean I'm going to hide and make sure no one leaves I'm not stupid enough to expose myself to large amounts of people who probably have some level of strength.
The commander spoke she was tall and was wearing intricate silver armour she held a spear and spoke with authority.
"Weird this looks like a dwarven city despite having mostly human residents the army seems to all be close to awakening their auras and they have someone capable of strong magic while no magic guild is based here"
Then she suddenly flicked her head in my direction and spoke.
"Ah there is no use in hiding your aura is leaking like waterfall you must be the commander here I wonder how strong you are"
It was too late to hide now so I revealed myself the enemy commander is surrounded by 4 people in plate armour and 6 strong looking people who were wearing bad leather armour.
In otherwords I am dead I might be better at fighting than others because of my aura and bloodlines but I am still an amateur warrior and I am out numbered.
I got into position and released my aura and the enemy commander did the same but hers was a dark orange colour a whole rank above mine.
Maybe if I was at the peak of bright red then I might of stood a chance but I had only recently awakened and I didn't have a martial art.
That being said I had one more ultra secret mega technique that could either end in my death or my survival and that is... running the fuck away!
I situated my aura towards my legs then sprinted to my right towards a side alley I heard footsteps very close behind me.
I managed to reach halfway towards the castle but then I felt a sharp pain in my side turning my head I saw the commander covered in orange aura smiling joyfully through the slit in her helmet.
She twisted her spear which was embedded in my left side causing me to scream out in pain it was as if she was tearing out my insides with firey hands.
My legs gave out and I collapsed on my front then the enemy commander started speaking.
"You know I have always wondered what the screams of a young man sound like? I never got to interrogate anyone as young as you when I used to work in the royal prisons oh and you have soft skin you must be of high birth.
How lovely the sounds you make will be haha ha ha..."
Well this was it for me at least I tried in this life well sorta tried I mean I feel like I could of done better but it will be easier just to accept my fate.
I relaxed my body waiting for a fatal strike but it didn't come instead the commander spoke in a mocking tone.
"You didn't think I would let you off that easily right? no no no I'm going to take my sweet time with you and your soft tender flesh"
I felt the spear being pulled out of my side which caused me to grunt in pain I tried to crawl away but the commander stabbed my right hand and while my hand was still impaled she stabbed my left hand.
The commander pushed her spear into the ground trapping me with my own hands she then grabbed hold of my right leg all I could hear was a crunching sound before a wave of pain caused sounds to escape my now dry mouth.
She then did the same with my my left leg causing me to exhibit the same reaction she slowly took off my armour with her hands then ripped off the back of my sweaty shirt.
She grabbed the back of my head and tilted it to the left then I felt her teeth bite into my shoulder breaking the skin and digging into the bone.
As her mouth pulled the flesh off me I screamed I felt tears coming out of my eyes wetting my face I felt my vocal cords getting worn out with each consecutive scream as she continued tearing away pieces of my shoulder area.
I breathed deeply as she pulled away and I though that she would finally stop but she grabbed whatever pieces of flesh she hadn't eaten and forced open my mouth.
She made me swallow then pulled out a dagger and flipped me on my back causing my hands to tear a bit and forcing my arms into an unusual position.
She started to lightly cut my skin into lines causing sharp pains as she went on the cuts started getting deeper and she licked the cuts when they bled too much and got in the way.
At this rate she would make me bleed out before she killed me I had to do something anything to get away from her.
Using all my energy I forced out the soul shield I made it large and made it cover the surrounding the buildings since it had a slight glow and it was now night time so it was visible.
I just hope someone can see it before I go insane from the pain.
