"Hey!"
"Open your door!"
I decided to make a visit to my neighbors. But they didn't open the door. It was dead quiet inside. I kept knocking on the door but nobody replied.
The door opened only after quite some time had passed. A pale and frail woman came out.
"I am from Unit 102. What's your problem with me?" I told her.
"What do you mean?" She said as if she didn't understand what I was talking about.
"You two are always talking to each other if I am home or not. You peeped into my unit just now."
"What are you talking about? I live here alone." Then she quickly closed the door and went inside.
"I definitely heard them talk. How could she say that she lives alone so brazenly?" I said to myself.
My problem didn't end there. Once I heard them, I could hear them more clearly. I heard them open and close the window. I could hear them laugh from time to time. It got on my nerves.
I started to get a headache. Then my entire body ached, so I couldn't go to work.
Thankfully, my girlfriend came over to take care of me.
"I want to sleep here tonight." She told me.
"No. You might catch a cold from me."
At that moment, I started to hear my neighbors again.
"Why isn't she leaving?"
"If she doesn't leave tonight, should we kill her?"
"Yes. That will be better. If we kill her, he will be alone again."
"Come on! They are being loud again." I said to my girlfriend.
"What do you mean?"
"Can't you hear the sounds from next door?"
"What?"
"Listen. "
At that moment, they stopped talking. I sent my girlfriend home because I couldn't put up with it anymore.
I was waiting for them to talk again so I would be able to catch them. Just then..
"I knew. They wouldn't stop on their own." They had started to talk again.
"He's fun to watch."
That is when I finally lost it. 'Are they kidding me right now?'
I went out and knocked on the neighbor's door.
"Hey! Hey!"
"What is this about?" The same woman from before opened the door.
"What is your problem with me?" I asked her angrily.
"What do you mean?"
"What do I mean? You were talking about me with that guy just now." I said to her.
"I didn't talk to anyone. And there is no guy in my house. I live alone."
"You live alone?" I went past her and entered her apartment.
"What are you doing?" She shouted.
It might have been better if I found a guy in her house.
