"Run Sasa! Run as fast as you can no matter what happens don't look back ok?" Mom said her voice shaking, blood dripping from her forehead to her chin, some fell unto my face.
It was the first time I saw her like this, I'm scared, so scared. Tears fell down my cheeks and my whole body can't stop shaking.
"M-mom where's D-da-daddy? What ha-happened to you Mom? Did someone bully you?" I asked and cupped her face not caring about the blood and dirt, trying to act strong.
Mom looked at me then she cried. She repeatedly says 'Sorry', I asked her why but she won't tell me.
Just then we heard the loud banging sound outside. Someone is trying to get in! Mom panicked, she pulled me hurriedly towards the cabinet. She separated the clothes and slide a part of the wall open revealing a small passage.
Without letting me say anything she pushed me inside. Then she took my hand and gave me a small box.
"Sasa, no matter what don't ever let anybody take this from you. It's our only hope."
I don't know what it is but I saw the trust, expectation, and desperation in Mom's eyes. I nodded.
"Sasa promise I will not let anyone take it from me as Mom says." I pinky swore.
"That's my baby." she said tears kept falling from her eyes.
"Mom stop crying, it's making Sasa want to cry too." I said wiping both her and my eyes.
"Ok, Mom won't cry anymore." she smiled then kissed me and hugged me tightly.
"OPEN THE DOOR WOMAN!!! OPEN THIS F****** DOOR!!!" a man shouted outside and continuously banged the door. The force causes the hanging lights to sway slightly.
The voice is making my hair stand. It enchanting but feels as though the hands of the dead are slowly making their way toward us aiming for one thing.

"Sasa, listen to Mom." she cupped my cheeks and forced me to look into her eyes seeing that I am slowly getting more terrified. "Remember the game we used to play with your Dad?"
I slowly nodded. "Um, we used to play hide and seek."
"That's right baby. We'll play hide and seek. Sasa knows what to do right?"
"Sasa will run and hide then Mom will find Sasa." I replied.
"Correct. Now Sasa, you need to go through this passage. At the end is a door that will lead you to Uncle Sam's store."
"The candy maker man?" I asked, and she nodded.
"Tell him I sent you then he'll take you to a place. You have to stay there and wait for ....." after she told me that she hugged me for one last time.

"I love you too Mom." I hugged her tighter. "Sasa will wait for you to find me." I said smiling. She nodded.
"BANG! THUD!" the door fell.
"Go Sasa now." she pushed me deeper into the passage and closed the opening.
It was so dark inside. My legs felt so weak to move.
"WHERE IS IT?! WHERE DID YOU HIDE IT?" it was that man. No reply came then I heard a blood-curdling scream.
'Mom!' I was about to open the passage again when I heard Mom shout.

"Aaaack!" I heard a crack, then the sound of something heavy falling to the floor.
"FIND IT!!!" the man roared.
"Mom..." I sobbed, I bit my lips and forced myself to move. 'I have to go. I have to. Mom said she'd find me. That's right! Mom will find me.'

"MOM!!!" I was jolted awake by the memory. I gasped and catch my breath clenching my chest where my heart is.
It hurts... Feels like my chest is being torn apart slowly. I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth enduring the pain without letting a sound out. I curled my body pressing my legs and hands against my chest. Sweat started to form on my forehead.
I can't bear it anymore and took the phone under my pillow and dialed his number. It ranged multiple times before the call went through.
"Sasa? What is it?" based on the hoarse voice he seemed to have only waked up.
"A....ngh" I clenched my fist tighter because it is becoming more painful. Tears started to fall from my eyes.
"Sasa. Hello Sasa?" I moaned and sobbed in pain.
"Sasa! What's wrong Sasa answer me!" I then heard shuffling sounds on the other line. "Sasa, wait for me I'm coming. Hold on."
"S-*gasp**gasp* Siel it ngh *gasp* hurts. H-he-help pls." I managed to say before the pain became worse.
"Don't worry Sasa. I'll be there. I'm coming!" I heard him say before the call ended.
I don't know how long I stayed in that position all I know is that the pain isn't going away, instead it even intensified even more.
Slowly, my consciousness is drifting away I don't have any strength left.

'So cold.' something warm suddenly covered me. I was lifted and carried away. It feels so warm. I grabbed on tightly to whoever it was.

"Thank you, Siel." I managed to say before fainting.
