"Hand over the Ignotus." Lin is ready to cast spells at Nana.
"I'm afraid I can't do that." Nana backs up a little.
"It's my duty as not only a student of Laftis University, but as well as a law abiding citizen of citizen of Laftis that I must prevent anything like the Ignotus from ever happening again." Lin is conflicted.
"The Ignotus is not what you think it is." Nana clutches the book tightly in her hands. "It saved my life."
"Nana!" Lin shouts at Nana, in a serious manner. Nana is taken aback, she's never felt this before. "You don't understand the magnitude of this! I can't just let you walk around this country with a weapon that killed millions!"
Nana stops. She feels... betrayed. "You don't... trust me." Nana looks at Lin, cautiously. "It's because you don't trust me."
Jasper doesn't dare say a word.
