As Lyan approached the ancient temple, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. There were the remains of the dwarves' civilizations, a people who were known for their advanced technology and engineering skills. Lyan hoped that within the temple, he might find some leads on modern technologies, or even some knowledge about Earth within this fantasy world.
He paused at the entrance, glancing back at Tesha who stood outside with the winter wolves and the golems. He had left her there to protect her, not wanting to risk her safety within the temple. He knew that there were likely to be traps and hidden treasures within, and he didn't want Tesha to get hurt. But other than that reason, he does not want to have something that might distract his focus in his search for the clues about earth.
