"Is it not important for Mara to have a sibling?" Amelia asked, surprised he didn't think of Mara first. There weren't other children in the castle for her to play with. It was only when they travelled outside the gates that Amelia saw children she would call to the castle in the future to play with Mara.
Mara needed a sibling or two. Amelia didn't want Mara to be like her without anyone in the castle to play with and understand being a princess. A sibling would be better to trust than some of the children of nobles.
