Sadie's ability to kill someone with her touch would be useful in the future. Amelia disregarded the fact that Sadie had tried to kill her when she attempted to shake hands and the fact she wanted to steal Killian away because he was able to fall in love. Once she could convince Sadie not to touch her, the demoness would be the perfect defense.
