Amelia sat on her grandmother's bed, watching as Margaret disappeared into her closet. "I would love to take something belonging to you to the north so that I have a piece of you there. How about that carriage you were going to give to me?" She asked.
"I have something better," Margaret returned with a stack of boxes.
"You should have let me help you," Amelia stood up to take the three boxes from her grandmother. "Did you pack rocks inside of these? Why are they so heavy?"
"You'll see soon. I've been making them for a while now and they've finally arrived today. Here. Open the smallest one first," Margaret sat down on the bed and handed Amelia the smallest of the three boxes.
