My doll," Amelia spotted a familiar toy she would play with.
It was a small doll the size of her hand with similar features to Amelia. Anne would use it to tell stories of a princess who would one day become queen.
She stood up from the bed to pick up the doll that lay under her mother's vanity. "You used to be so pretty. The dust has ruined you," she shook the doll and fanned the dust that came out. "A little bit of water will make you feel brand new. You can come with me. I need a basket," Amelia said as she looked around for something to hold the things she would take.
