"What is this invitation for?" Beth asked for the sole purpose of running back to Fraser to tell it so he could be prepared for anything.
"Everyone who is meant to attend will know what it is by dinner. Everyone will have to hear about it afterward. I'm sorry, aunt Beth. If you have changed your mind about not wanting to get involved in castle affairs, I would add your name to be invited. I would love for more women to be present with this," said Amelia.
So far it was only she and Margaret as the women who would be attending the meeting for the truce. As women were hardly invited to important meetings, there weren't any other women she could think of who was in the castle. As time went on, Amelia expected this would be something that changes.
