"You've made the castle become quite noisy, Amelia. People are doing nothing but talking about you calling off the engagement. Some have even come to me to ask what are you thinking. Begging me to have a word with you. It's a pain for me," Margaret sighed.
"It's interesting how worried many of them are but before this, they weren't treating me right. Laughing in my face because I have to marry Killian but only now that it is called off did they realize I had saved their lives. Some of the court ministers sent me gifts," Amelia informed her grandmother. She sipped her tea as she found all of this to be funny. "I let the maids take them."
"As you should. Don't make those snakes think they can buy you."
Amelia put down her cup on the table and said, "Why are you not angry I have created havoc in the castle and have not cleared it up? Even though you cherish me, I don't mind you scolding me."
