"How long do you plan to ignore me, princess?" Killian leaned over to her side slightly the moment breakfast came to an end.
Amelia ignored his question and asked Margaret, "Are you free later, grandmother? I will pay you a visit when you are."
"I have nothing to do but sit around at this age. Come whenever you are not busy," Margaret answered. She gave Killian a quick glance afterward. Margaret was glad Killian had become interested in Amelia enough to not have killed anyone else.
After sensing something was wrong between the two, Margaret was worried he might change his mind about letting them not be harmed considering Richard was dead but it seemed like Killian was enjoying receiving a cold shoulder. Margaret couldn't help but wonder how her ancestors would feel to see a demon had given up violence and chose to peacefully marry a human.
