The throne room immediately went silent when Killian entered with Amelia by his side. Amelia ignored the judgemental stares of the men who laughed at her when her father was alive. Now, they could only bite their tongues to hold back what they felt about her as it was obvious she had Killian's support.
Killian led Amelia in the direction of the throne and she was certain he was going to make her sit on it but he didn't. He stopped right before they could sit on it.
"It's just a chair," he whispered to her. "Speak. What have all of you come up with? If it bores me, I shall kill the messenger."
"King Killian Bune," Fraser stepped into the middle of the room.
Amelia narrowed her eyes, confused by Fraser's presence in the castle. He was not here when the north attacked the castle unless he had been secretly here. Or, someone sent it to him this morning and the northerners let him in.
