"Why didn't you bring the children?" Amelia asked after noticing it was only Gina and Alastor.
"I need a little break so I left them with my mother. It will hopefully help my father to finally acknowledge his grandchildren and see that they are harmless," Gina answered.
Her father was one of the humans who disliked demons and wanted them gone. He wasn't thrilled to hear Gina was with Alastor so he spoke to her less. Her mother was excited to have her stop working and focus on starting a family. She could not change who Gina settled with and since demons had become a normal sight, she grew accustomed to it.
"They will get another chance to see Cyrus since he is forbidden from leaving the castle. Are you still with Jahi or did you move on?" Gina asked, hoping Cyrus had woken up and realised that he did not need Jahi.
