"No," Amelia shook her head. "But I am not going to turn back now after we spent months planning for this. Just hold my hand for now."
Killian held Amelia's hand as she wanted to help calm her nerves. It was scary to turn from a human to demon, but she was handling it quite well. "It will be over fast and you will be unconscious for most of it. When you wake up, you will get to see Mara."
"No. When I wake up I want to make sure everything is fine before I go near our daughter. You are to not bring her near me until it is for certain that the change has gone right. Now I know exactly how my mother felt to stay away instead of telling me she was alive. Let's get this started now so I can see Mara soon," Amelia said, taking a deep breath to get rid of her fears.
