"It is finished. Drink this, and don't let a single drop spill. It was hard to make it," Sybil said, handing Amelia a wooden spoon with the potion she brewed.
"Wait. You said the other potion fell on her. Why does she have to drink this one?" Killian asked before Amelia could try taking a sip.
Sybil scratched the back of her head. "Fine, just throw it on your body. It should work the same way. I'll get to pick the pieces of snake skin off of you."
Sybil didn't see why the snake she killed should go to waste if Amelia wasn't going to drink the potion.
Amelia felt more nervous to see that Sybil had forgotten she wouldn't need to drink it. "On second thought, I prefer Killian putting me to sleep. For the last few nights, I've been able to sleep on my own. So," she said, pushing the spoon away.
