"I don't want to take up any more of your time so I will take my leave now," Beth said, letting the flower petals in her hands fall to the ground. "As you said, I should keep an eye on Fraser. I will see you at dinner."
Beth curtsied before leaving Margaret with her guard. Their conversation was satisfying but it wasn't enough for everything Margaret did in the past and was planning to do in the present.
One thing she learned from their exchange was the fact she needed to get rid of the men Margaret had guarding her. Margaret's family was known for having a large group of skilled men to protect them. Men that had nothing to do with the castle. Men who could go up against the King's army. It was the reason Margaret was a marriage candidate for the King in her youth.
"Fraser you fool," Beth muttered. Fraser driving Leonard away messed with her plans.
