"You can open your eyes now," Killian said as soon as he landed on the balcony of their room a moment ago but Amelia still clung to him. He quite liked it and contemplated staying with her like this until she realized it. "Any time I want you to cling to me I should just fly you around."
"Why didn't I suggest the carriage? Why would I make you fly?" Amelia asked, shakingly getting out of Killian's arms. The moment his feet left the ground she closed her eyes and held onto his shirt as much as she could. The fear of falling was not something she could escape. "I am not doing this again."
"You resemble a cat after being tossed in the water," Killian said as he watched her walk.
"A cat tossed in water? I am not even going to assume it was anyone but you who has tossed a cat in water for your own enjoyment."
"It was not me. I simply watched it happen," Killian replied, recalling the trembling creature.
