Chapter 38
Ella's POV
"ELLA!!"
"Ella are you ok? Can you hear me?"
I feel someone shake me but my eyes won't open, my body too exhausted to move. I feel strong arms pick me up and from under my eyelids, I see lights passing by. I hear the squeak of an old door and Mila crying, asking if I was ok. I think I am back in the Alpha's home.
"...sleep. All will be well..." I hear an unfamiliar voice whisper to me.
Even though I don't recognize it I feel a sense of calm wash over me. I do my best to relax into sleep and after a few moments, I slip into unconsciousness.
"Welcome, Eleanore. It's so good to finally meet you" the voice that had spoken to me before says louder than before.
"Hello?" my eyes snap open.
