Ferrin's ears pricked up, he could hear the thunderous sound of steps barging inside through the broken door of the hospital.
Without thinking further, his eyes lit up, swallowing him from where he stood and taking him to the end of the corridor.
The beauty clenched the spear tightly in her hand before lowering her back and dashing forward with a loud whoosh.

Ano felt her whole back drenched in cold sweat, a while ago she was just wondering how to cross the shut door and run outside when the freaking door decided to ease her pain by getting smashed into smithereens by a lot of monkeys.
Before her senses could even digest what just happened, one of the monkeys hurled forward its tail and took hold of Seilo.
The monkey squeezed Seilo's body tightly, causing her to bellow out a piercing screech.
Ano didn't know about her chances of rescuing Seilo but sure believed Ferrin could do better than her, hence she called out to him as loudly as she could and prayed her voice made it.
"Just how many monkeys are there?" Ano took step back, seeing the monkey's slowly approaching forward endlessly.
"What the heck os going on?" Ano glanced around for some kind of weapon but just gave up mid-way due to the incredulous number of monkeys pouring inside. A helpless smile on her face, "I do wish you would make it easy on us, you know?"
Poor Seilo kept screaming loudly, her bones would snap soon if this kept on.
'I can't help her! Only Ferrin or that lady could do it... I am weak. Look, I don't even know about my own rate of survival! Why am I worrying about someone else?' Ano shook her head helplessly, a small smile on her face as she gazed at her death taking a leisurely walk towards her.
Ano's ears pricked up, she could hear something whooshing towards her with rapid speed! Without even realising what had happened, she felt something wrap around her waist and drag her at a speed that made everything a blur to her. All she managed to see was the monkeys which kept getting further and further away.
Another figure suddenly blinked near Ano, with ferocious eyes, Ferrin used his blood-stained claws to sever the monkey's tail and grab hold of Ano.
'Tch! lt's not working! Can only I teleport?' Ferrin bent his legs and hurled himself into the air, following Ano and the beauty to the upper floor, leaving one of the monkeys screeching in pain and the others in surprise.
"Too many!! Just how did they get here?!" The beauty gazed back with her fiery eyes, her brows knitted together in confusion but still not a hint of fear on her eyes. 'I will eliminate them all when I get her to safety.'
"KEEE!" The monkeys roared thunderously and jumped towards Ferrin, almost like a sea with their hundred plus numbers.
'Damn! How did they ge- SHIT! THAT GENIUS!' Ferrin clicked his tongue in anger, 'Just how the heck did I let it escape? Why the heck did I lose myself in rage? DAMN! What's wring with me? I don't get this angry to forget my priorities! Damn you Ferrin, get yourself together!'
Ferrin shook these thoughts away, he brought his mind to the present and thought of a way to escape through this predicament.
Sniff! Sniff! 'Wait! These monkeys' sense of smell isn't inhumane! I think if I can get out of their sight, I might be able to hide safely in some kind of room.'
But the problem of escaping their eyes still remained and that beauty was still running strong unlike him. He was faster than her with his teleportation but weaker in actual speed, even though he was a freaking monkey!
'I have a... dumb plan!' Ferrin wanted to face-palm himself, 'Just why did I have to come up with such a risky plan?' Ferrin sighed while glancing backwards, the monkeys were hurling curses at him, 'Hey! I can understand them! Even though their words are pretty unintelligent. Still though... that's cool!' A small smile crept on his face.
He gazed forward, seeing the beauty about to turn left and escape his sight, his mind became resolute. Without giving any warnings, he did a light spin and hurled Seilo forward like a ball, despite feeling surprised Seilo didn't look concerned.
'Nice throw! Now!' Ferrin's eyes lit up, appearing a little ahead from where he expected Seilo to land at and swiftly caught her. 'Dang! I'm slick!' Ferrin couldn't stop himself from grinning widely.
Seeing Ferrin appear near her, the beauty had a strange look across her face. 'What's this joy I am feeling at him being safe?!'
'Now then!' Ferrin sped towards the beauty and said loudly, "Follow me! I have a plan!"
The beauty's eyes narrowed slightly. Before she swiftly nodded her head.
'Nice! Much easier than I expected!' Ferrin did the same trick again and went ahead of her.
But she didn't fail to amaze him but instantly catching up to her.
Ferrin turned 5 corridors like this before glancing behind him and opening one of the doors nearby. The monkeys were way back!
He hurriedly beckoned the beauty to follow him as he went inside. The beauty didn't disappoint and without even lowering her pace, skid inside the room through an abrupt turn.
Ferrin hurriedly shut the door tight and heaved a sigh of relief! "Dang! That was something!"
The beauty gazed at him silently before putting Ano down.
Ferrin also gently placed Seilo on the floor.
"Are we... safe?!" Ano looked around in disbelief. Her heart had only starter throbbing like an engine when she knew she had a chance of survival.
Seilo remained calm the whole time, not bothered about how she was tosser around, puttering her in harms way, she bowed deeply towards Ferrin and said with utmost sincerity, "Thank you for saving me again, Lord!"
Ferrin sighed in relief while shaking his hand dismissively, "Keke!"
The beauty looked around, there was a corpse on the patient's bed, it hadn't been murdered, it looked to have died through lack of care.
She went towards it and without any hesitation sat on the bed, catching her breath.
Ferrin massaged his neck while pouring himself some water from the jug on the table, near the bed.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
"Keke! "Kek!" "Kekkeke!"
His ears pricked up, he raised his hand and motioned for everyone to remain silent.
The monkeys' sense of smell may not be inhumane but their sense of hearing sure was. Ano even held her breath in fear, also starting to hear the silence being broken.
As the sound echoed past the corridor, the beauty stood up, her spear oozing off a violent hue.
Ferrin frowned and asked in concern, he had a bad premonition, "Where are you going?!"
The beauty looked back at him and replied in a nonchalant manner, "To eliminate the threat!"
"There are too many!" Ferrin replied with a grave look.
"I don't need concern. Especially from a stranger!" The beauty replied calmly and turned away.
The word stranger caused Ferrin's heart to ache bitterly but seeing her walking away, he reached out his hand, "Wai-"
A jolt coursed through both of them as the hand clasped the hand. The jolt didn't just shake their body but the entirety of their heart and soul alike. It sent them both in euphoria. Their hearts beat rapidly, almost tearing out of their chest. Their bodies frozen like sculptures.
'Its you... YOU'ER HERE! MY LOVE! FINALLY YOU'ER HERE WITH ME!' A voice screamed inside Ferrin's head, a sever headache struck him, just like the beauty, 'ITS HIM! HE'S... HE'S HERE!!!' The pain caused them to step back and hold their heads reflexively, making them lose contact with each other.
'NOO!' Both of them felt as of someone had torn their hearts apart. With horror and dread, they stared at one another, seeing the other right there, in front of them, a sense of relief dawned upon them.
"A-Are you both okay?" Ano worriedly stared at the two. Seilo got up on her feet and supported Ferrin's body.
Ano seeing the beauty about to collapse on her back also hurried to provide support.
Ferrin drank the water given by Ano and sighed while staring at the beauty, the latter's eyes reflected Ferrin's monkey green eyes clearly.
"I'm alright!" Ferrin patted Seilo and got to his feet. He stumbled lightly to the side but luckily regained control before he fell.
"Careful!" Ano voiced out in concern, "What happened to you two?"
Ferrin stepped towards the beauty, his eyes flickering with a strange look and held out his hand. The beauty's eyes wavered slightly, she bit her lips before taking his hand.
Ferrin felt something feeling exceptionally giddy inside him but nothing else, seeing the beauty still standing straight, he presumed it was the same for her, a strange glint flashed in his eyes as he turned to glance at Ano, "Nothing happened."
"Hmm!" Ano didn't know what else to say at his incomprehensible monkey screech.
An awkward silence descended the room as Ferrin locked eyes with the beauty, both of them trying to stare into the secrets of the other.
Eventually the beauty sighed and started walking away. Just as Ferrin was about to call out to her, she spoke aloud, "Come with me, monkey."
Ferrin didn't even bother about being called a monkey and started following behind her.
The two carefully went outside the room, leaving Seilo's amd Ano's side and entered another room.
The beauty took a seat and silently gazed at Ferrin, the latter got the hint and also sat down.
"I honestly wouldn't trust someone like you but due to the circumstances, I have no choice." As if to make this clear, a stern look appeared on her face, devouring her nonchalance.
"So if I see anything suspicious, I will instantly kill you! Do you still want me to continue?" She asked calmly once more.
Ferrin's brows knitted together, 'She's speaking as of she knows something, no like everything! But... thankfully she's willing to believe me and talk a bit. I guess I should change back to my human form to commu-, Wait! How has she been able to understand me all this time? I never shifted to my human form!' Ferrin became even more confused.
Nonetheless, he still shifted into his human appearance, becoming the slightly chubby boy he was.
The beauty scrutinised Ferrin from head to toe, before starting to speak, "First of all, as per formality, let me say this,"
The beauty closed her eyes for a second before opening them up with a strange glow and said, "Welcome to the world of nightmares!"
