Maria had never sprinted so fast in her life.
Her mind ran faster than her mind could, and she felt as though she was about to lose her mind. It was a miracle she had not fallen on her face yet because she was running at an abnormal speed for someone wearing heels. She could hear Diablo calling out to her and telling her to slow down before she hurts herself, but only the two of them knew what he truly meant by that. Diablo was telling her to calm down; it was more than obvious the Spanish donna was panicking. The series of events was too much for a normal human to fathom.
But who could blame her? Jane was only eight months old. She turned just a few days ago, so why is the baby coming now? Was this normal? Neither of them was ready yet. Not Jane, not Antonio, and certainly not Maria.
