Jane was speechless.
But more importantly, she was hurt. The purple-haired woman did her best not to let the tears that threatened to escape fall. There was no need for them, not right now. But she hated to hear that Maria had been bottling up so much for so long.
She was breaking down before everyone's eyes, and Jane barely even realized.
"I'm so sorry," was the first thing Jane said since Maria told her what had been going on.
The Donna tilted her head to the left, confusion visible in her amber eyes as her eyebrows pulled together. "For What? "None of this is your fault."
Jane sniffled before wiping her nose with the back of her hand. "Yeah, but you were going through the worst moments of your life, and I was rubbing my best in your face." At this juncture, Jane was a crying mess.
