Chapter 74 - FEAR, REGRET, GUILT.

Fear.

Regret.

Guilt.

Which emotion do you think should be considered more powerful than the other? Alexandra didn't know. All she could feel were those three sensations as she jogged through the numerous halls in search for the man she had lied to.

Beads of sweat trickled down her head as her eyes roamed every passing corner, hoping to come in contact with the same grey pair she had come to admire.

The more time passed, the more her emotions skyrocketed: the fear for her life, the regret from her past, and the guilt from what she had done. It felt like she had been searching for hours. Frustration was starting to take over, and all Alexandra wanted was to have the ground swallow her up.

If she could turn back the hands of time, she would have made sure that she had never met Diablo, but a part of her knew that was a lie. She didn't regret knowing him; she regretted knowing him this way.
