They say water has healing qualities and Alexacould not agree more. She would never have gone above the surface if she hadn't needed oxygen to survive. Every so often, she would submerge herself into the soft, cooling liquid. She loved the way she felt when she was encircled by the cooling water, how easily she moved around the pool and flailed her limbs. The world looked a lot different under water, and she loved it.
When she stuck her head out of the water, Diablo said, "I was starting to think you drowned this time." He said casually. He had his back to her as his eyes remained glued to the bustling cityscape.
"Were you scared?" Alexa teased as she approached the edge, folding her arms on the cool floor before resting her chin on the gap. She peered up at him with a small smile, admiring the way the muscles on his back flexed as he moved.
He rotated his torso a bit to reveal part of his face to her as he said, "Yes."
