Alexandra walked into the all-too familiar palace-like abode hand in hand with its owner. Her eyes fell on the woman who was tapping her feet against the marble floor. Deborah had a scowl on her face and her eyes narrowed to form a glare as she directed them towards Alexandra.
"You did not even say goodbye!" the 5'8 woman said as she stormed up to them with a look that only showed a thirst for blood.
Alexandra did not know when her body had moved closer to Diablo for protection until she was completely covered by his tall, fit stature. She peered over his shoulder to give her fuming friend a pleading look and said, "I am sorry."
"Leave us," Deborah told Diablo, and when he was about to leave, Alexandra squeezed Diablo's bicep.
"Please, don't." she begged, and Diablo chuckled. He turned until he was completely facing her.
