Alexa and I have not been seeing, eye to eye with things lately she wants to go and see the gay couple can't remember their names correctly and I'm not feeling good about this and it's almost Friday-. Thought disturbed.

"What I'm trying saying is I miss you, I haven't seen you in months you hardly greet me sometimes will be walking and talking and you would zone out, I …I don't know what to do anymore I miss you, this is a drawing of you alive hope it brings you back here, bye".

"Oh...Ok kinda deserve that come let me explain something to you, one it's just that the exams are next week, I am stressed and have two I have a plays to submit next week Friday and I don't know if the teacher is going to like it or not she appointed me to write it months back which I did, now I am anxious about it so if I have been off I am sorry and thank you for the drawing Leon. I am hungry, let's go."
"I meant what I said besides I want to eat with Narlo".
"Narlo?" I asked not knowing the fuck he's talking about.
"Yes, well she's very hot and I have a huge crush on her. Are you and that girl that's coming our direction dating?"
"Alexa? Yes we are". I lied
"Everyone has been talking about it".

Leon shouts "Yah" as he walks away.
"You look famished". She said I Giggled.
"You have no Idea how hungry I am right now." I said
"Let's go to the cafeteria". She said,
"You know I hate that place".
"Let's just go". She playfully drags my arm toward the cafeteria's direction.
She stopped dragging my arm and we both walked normally.
"How is the play going?"
"It's going fine, just have to finish editing and then give it to you to read then submit".
"Oh good can't wait, you know there is this other girl in my class, Serena, her roommate paid the other girl in my class to make Serena fall for her."
"What? That is so badass". I say and laugh.
"Uhm… I miss you Reo, you have been stressing a lot lately and l know I have been part of that and I am sorry for that , don't you want to skip the rest of the day and let's just go to our room and I don't know…
"I'm flattered Alexa but I can't. It is very cold and I need to see the theater ma'am then we can skip".
"No we can't skip them because it will be too obvious most kids skip the last class".
I kissed Alexa's cheek and I said goodbye as the bell rang.
"Where are you going you didn't even eat"
Reo did not respond she continued and left

Walking to my room as the school day ends I spent the hours before five studying and doing homework in the library so I can spend time with Alexa since I have been distant lately. When I got to our room Alexa was drooling on top of her books and looked like she had been studying too but got tired. I locked the door gently and put my school bag on the floor gently so it wouldn't wake her up. I slowly walk to her and kiss her head.
She slowly opens her eyes and tries to speak.
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up". Looking into her marble eyes.
"It is okay I love you Romina grammar".
I tucked her in bed and she continued with her slumber.

I woke up to a letter from Alexa but she already left the letter doesn't not clearly say where she went but it reads as follows:

I quickly wore some clothes and ran down stairs to the entrance hoping that I would find her before she left but unfortunately she had left already. On my way to our room eyes red filled with anger and hate, heart hurting wanting to let out the tears but I kept them in. I'm overthinking the worst cases, I quickly got ready to go to class before I get late.
Sad for Reo, the world that once seemed to be full of hope and open doors has suddenly locked every door of everything positive; she had no hope.
I tried to continue with my everyday life but not for how long was I going to neglect the memories of her, I realized if I needed to move on I would have to change my daily routine I spent more time with my books, I got an A+ for my short story she was right about that it was perfect, I had to be ready either way for my exams which I did good in.
The holidays, come still no sign of Alexa, no one has seen her, not even her guy friends. The police are not doing anything to help but come up with situations like these that happened years ago.
"Saying that she is probably lost or dead somewhere, by now because it has been over a month that she has gone missing."
I thought the duty of police is to give hope and reassurance that she will be found. During the short school holidays I asked them to print pictures of her and hang them in public places around the town but nothing.
I didn't want to go home. My life had been a living nightmare but what I didn't know was the situation of her disappearance, it is killing me not knowing where she is.
I knew the that justice system will fail me once again because there was no physical evidence I decided to make my own research while busy with school but still didn't find anything I appreciate the principals effort at the assembly telling the school about Alexa and the effort she put in to help with the posters in the school building and the at the shelter for the homeless she went all out I am grateful for her she has become my shoulder to lean on ever since this happened.
I tried to move on because it was now the December holidays. I chose to stay in school and not go anywhere in case she comes back the police closed the case, because she is probably dead or hiding according to them.
It's the last day of school. Other children are packing and some are already packed and I'm just lying in my bed like no one gave birth to me drowning in my misery.
A knock at the door who could that be I stood and opened the door.
"Hey Reo, how are you doing? I heard what happened. I'm sorry. Do you want to come home with me this holiday?"
Obviously Leon!! You heard what the principal spoke about at the assembly months back. I mentally roll my eyes.
"When like now, no! I can't my mom will be on my ass and it's definitely last minute am sorry I can't Leon".
"Well it's ok mama's girl I get it, see you have a wonderful Christmas with your Mama ''.

Weeks ran by. I got bored of sitting in one place so I walked to the town. I once saw nice places there.
My day has been good lately. I have been having decent days. As soon as I found the game side I didn't hesitate. I played the games I had a great time, and felt like doing it again soon.
I did it again the next morning found a bookstore and a movie theater somewhere for plays and stuff that had definitely filled the emptiness inside me a little, it might have taken a while to move on but I am content that I finally did, I started going every day to town, brought herself clothes try to cheer myself up a little.
But I still could not stay till midnight because the school gates close at eight. Today I booked a nearby B&B so I could view the town during the night. It happens that I am very interested in motor bikes but couldn't buy one because I have no license for a motor bike. I have a car license only.
But I really went there because I wanted to ask if they could post the picture of a missing girl on their window.
I took a chance with this one. I went to the bike store which sold second hand bikes and browsed as I was browsing the male casher shouts.
"Uno we have customers!"
I felt so bad because it's only me. I didn't even come here to buy anything. I am just browsing. I quickly went to the cashier and said,
"Oh no sir I didn't come to purchase anything I can't even ride one of those and I don't have a license besides I am not looking for a second hand bike I want a new one and my friend has been missing for months can you please put up his picture of her on one of your windows?".
"Yes, you can and I hope you find her soon. Young lady we have biking lessons coming up isn't that right Uno? Uno here will teach you everything you need to know about riding one of those in a week now you can go to the traffic department and book your test now for next week Monday".
"Sorry to disappoint. I am only in town for only a day and besides I don't think I can learn that fast but thank you sir, bye".
I walked out of the shop leaving the old sir very disappointed. I ended my adventure earlier that day so I can get some rest for the night. The night I went out it is two weeks till Christmas. It really pains me that I will be spending another Christmas alone. The holiday decorations outside are not giving me a break either but they are beautiful, I admitted and laughed. This time I played games and tried talking to strangers which worked out fine.
Two days later I went back to the bike store hoping that it's still open.
"Look who decided to take my offer. Thank you for coming back. What's your name?"
"I am Romina Grammar sir".
"What do your friends call you?"
"I don't have a friend's sir but if I had one she'd probably be calling me Reo".
"Okay Reo, let me call someone to assist you, Uno" Uno came rushing through the storage door. "Yes". "This is Uno, she also has no friends".
"Hi, I am Romina".
"I am Juno by the way he keeps forgetting the "J" and I am doing very fine without them thanks". I chuckle and say
"Yeah me too".
"Remember Uno always be kind to your customers".
"Well you don't have to, I can be annoying at times".
Juno lets out a small laugh and hands a form to me so I can fill it in with my details.
"I will be back in a few minutes. Ok, thank you, please have a look around so you can get an Idea of what kind of bikes you are into and I'll be with you shortly".
I gave her the form back and looked around but I couldn't find a bike I am really into.
"Hey did you find the bike of your dreams"? She said sarcastically but I didn't follow.
"What?" I asked in a confused tone.
"No, I mean did you find the bike that you like?" "Oh sorry I didn't, I don't know much about bikes but I think they are chilled".
"You must be those rich kids that just want something because they got the money to get it".
"I suggest you don't judge me because you haven't been in my shoes". I said and walked out of the shop to get some air because what she said really ticked me off. I'm try to live my life, trying so hard to move on and this happens it's not about what she said it's about what I have lost.
My eyes fill with tears but I quickly whipped them so no one can see that I am hurting and went back inside the shop and asked Juno if there's anything she needed from her regarding the offer.
"Thought you were gone forever this time".
"I wasn't gone that long". I said and rolled my eyes.
"You need to go to the traffic department and book yourself a date".
"I don't know where that is, can't you take me there?"
"No, I can't, I don't have a car."
"Me too". She is so mean I went to the sir and told him about my situation.
He quickly offered me his old classic car I don't know why he trusted me so much and told Juno to go with me, she refused but still went with me either way cause sir told her it will be her overtime so she didn't have a choice it was a long ride no words were exchanged until we got there.
"I'll wait in the car while you go in and register". She said with a bored tone.
I got registered, it went great and we were already on the road again.
"It's a small town isn't it, I am surprised it's not full. If it was back home there wouldn't be a single space left for this month".
"City girl in a small town I see".
"It's not exactly like that, it was more of a girl who lived in a city."
"You're not making sense".
"You know what never mind it sounded way better in my head, don't you know a nearby place where we can eat, I am starving".
"Yeah sure I know a seafood place somewhere close".
"Don't you know any places that serve fried chicken, fries, burgers perhaps?"
"I thought you wanted a place like home".
"Home?" I questioned and giggled
"looks like you're the one that misses home, because you keep bringing it up". I said and giggled.
"Yeah that's true I do miss home but it isn't the same without the person who raised you right".
"I know that for a fact".
I said and smiled. Juno parked the Car and we walked into the fast food place and order
"4 hot chicken wings, large chips fries please and 2 pieces of fried chicken thank you…. when are you going to order?" I asked and looked at her.
"Sorry, is it going to be a takeaway or y'all eating here"?
"We are eating here".
"OMG! Reo I thought you were ordering for the both of us."
I laughed and said, "No order for yourself I can't order for you. I don't know what you want and don't worry I am paying since I'm the rich kid that buys whatever because she got the money right."
"Uhm…Okay". She says and nods.
She ordered what I ordered too and we waited at a table nearby.
"Why are you staring at me like you've never seen a girl order that much?"
"It's just that I've never met anyone as unapologetic as you, that's it".
"I will take that as a compliment".
I let out a sigh of relief as I saw the waitress coming in our direction with a tray full of what we ordered. "Thank you." We both said to the waitress and she nodded and walked away.

We ate but didn't finish since I was running out of time. It was already past five o'clock.
We hit the road again.
"Sorry about what I said earlier at the shop, I should have minded my own business".
"Apology accepted".
"What are you doing on Christmas eve"?
"Nothing, how about you?"
"Usually I'd be working at the game places downtown but not this year. I will be playing games with the old sir, his wife passed away this year, they have been together for 40 years and this will be his first Christmas holiday without her.
It will be him and his children so he invited me and I am inviting you".
"Me? I know how that feels, and no I can't. I stay very far and being here until past six is going to be challenging for me in terms of transport".
"I will take you home or you can sleep at his house that's where I stay during the school holidays". "You have to ask him first."
"Ok I will, you know how that feels, what's that"?

I blush as the thought of Alexa pops in my mind, but ignore the comment.
"Well thank you for taking me there even though you didn't want to, please ask the sir now so I can go home knowing I will have to come back tomorrow.
"Okay". We got out of the car and I waited outside of the shop. Juno quickly came back.

"How come you don't smile unless you are laughing or talking?" I smile and ask

I roll my eyes and ask "What did he say?"
"He agreed".

"Sure don't get lost". I can't stop but blush and laugh at the same time as I walk on and shout back.

"You know what, let me just come with you, you might get lost!" I giggled as she ran after me. I waited for her and said.
"I'm not going far, I am just going to the bus stop and it's almost here so you can just go back".
"No, I want to see you go in".
"Okay". The bus quickly came. I waved at Juno and went back to the school.
I walked in the principal's office.
"Good morning ma'am may I have a word with you please?"
"Yes come in dear been a while how have you been"?
"It's been tough but all I can do now is move on and I was just going to tell you that I am leaving and I'll be spending the rest of my holiday at home".
"Okay, call me whenever it gets too quiet, okay come give me a hug."
She gets up from her chair and gives me the most warm hug I have ever got.
"It's going to get better, fear not and don't give up okay"? She says while I'm still in her embrace she lets me loose and walks back to her desk.
"Thank you ma'am".
"You're welcome, dear and don't forget to call whenever it gets too quiet, enjoy your Christmas."

2 hours later
I arrived with my bag at the old sir's shop and it was closed but Juno was sitting outside waiting for me. She tried to hide her excitement but couldn't.
"What took you so long?" she asked in a smile.
"I had to pack a few clothes."
"Whatever, Come the shop is closed today".
"Oh why?" "He normally closes down the shop on the 12th to spend time with his family".
"What about my training? I need to be ready by the 21th it's their last opening day and it's 9am till 12pm."
"Don't worry we will start Monday, chill today is Saturday come lets go".

I ask Amanda "Where Juno is going". "Juno never tells us anything, she just goes".

We went and sat with my brothers.
"Do you have any siblings?"
"No, I am an only child".
"Okay enough with the family talk you need to be kissed by a boy and I'm just the type for you". Luke says. I roll my eyes and say.

"Or I have my interest's somewhere else".
"Whatever, I'm still kissing you". I narrow my and cover my face with my palms. Can't he just leave me alone?

"Yes, Bob I came, thank you for having me".

"What will you be doing alone in this house because I know Luke and Jake are going out too". Amanda asked.
"I will be sleeping, I need to rest".

"Yes, yes just get ready and get going".
"Okay, Reo and Juno will y'all need to change outfits".
"No, no I'm good". We both speak at the same time.
"Ok I just need a face beat and a little mascara then we will be ready to go, we will be taking my car".
Amanda quickly did what she needed to do in the meantime Juno and I took her keys and waited in the car.
"How was your first few hours in the bob house"?
"Other than being annoyed by those two boys it's cool, Amanda is nice too she is so chilled".

Amanda starts the car while I connect my phone through cables and played songs and they happen to like it.

I run after Amanda but Juno pulls me backwards and grabs my arm and runs the opposite direction we both trip and fall.
She laughed so hard that her tears came out. I started laughing too. I get up and stand next to her.
"Get up". I said but she was so weak from laughing, I stretched out my arm and she reached for my hand, finally she got up.
"Uha your funny".
"I've been told" I reply while walking.
"Was that Amanda's boyfriend?" I asked referring to the guy we saw over the street

"Somewhere looking for me and I am waiting for him".
"So in the meantime you're just hooking up with whoever you want".

"You know if you make him fall in love with you, you won't be any different from him".

"So you still don't know what type of bikes you are into?"
"Yeah I don't, is that bad?"
"No, it's perfectly normal".
I look at her and say. "I mean it's like saying I love someone but you know nothing about him/her, you need to teach me everything you know about bikes."
"Ok we will have to research it tomorrow".
"Or now that my cell phone is full, I hardly use it here".
We searched about motorbikes and watched videos of different kinds of motorbikes until Amanda knocked on the window of the car drunk wanting to go home and sleep.
"Okay we are going to open, no you are not going to sit next to the driver Reo is going to sit there".
"Okay, okay fine don't touch me I can walk I have feet and I can use them". Juno gets frustrated. I run my hand on her back and say.
"Don't let what she is saying get to you she is drunk we sober remember".
"Augh yeah I completely forgot".
"Where is your boyfriend?" I ask as I get in the car Juno gets ready to drive.
"Is everyone's seatbelt on?"
"Yes it's".
"Okay I'm driving now".
"My boyfriend is still inside with my brothers". As we are driving home Amanda slowly falls asleep.
"Finally she is sleeping. Do you still think you can't handle your life sober?"
"Well clearly with you around I can but the thing is when I am alone".
"You don't have to be". "What is that supposed to mean, after our training may not be the last time I see you".
"Umm… No, I'm not leaving till the schools open. That's only if you're fine with it I don't want to be annoying or whatever".
"You're already annoying so whatever it's fine, but I'm not the owner of the house we live in right now".
"Didn't mean to eavesdrop but Dad is going to be fine with it".
"Well I guess I'm staying".
"Wait, I think about to vomit, Juno pulled over". Juno tires to pull over.
"No, no it's fine it's not coming out my mouth but it sure is coming out my ass". She says and laughs.
"The windows please I am dying". I scream
"Wait, we are almost there".
Juno parks the car and we both spring out of the car and laugh.
"She almost killed us".
"Excuse me, can someone get me out of here"? I say.
"Okay we are coming". We carried her to her room that she and I are sharing.
"Reo I changed my mind. I don't want you in my room. I have a boyfriend so figure something out, close the door on your way out".
"Isn't she the sweetest?" I said sarcastically and closed the door.
"Yes she is".
"Juno do you Uhm… perhaps have space for me in your room?"
"Oh Reo I'm so sorry I don't but we can share a bed if that's okay".
"Yeah, anything is fine"
"Come in".
"Is this your studying table?"
"Yes?"
"Can I sit?"
"Yah". I set and took a paper and a pen and wrote a poem.
"What are you writing?"
"Wait I'll show you and don't be afraid to object or if you think it's dull but remember it's just an opinion I won't take it too personally because you haven't been in my shoes nor have I been in yours, and I stand to be corrected".
"What do you want to be Reo?"
"I want to do a lot of things but right now it is to get mentally healthy and just be happy, okay ready?"
