The noble house of Trent was a minor novel house in the great country of yith. they were part of the 250 noble houses that served the great royal family. thier sigil was a blue goat eating a snake signifying their hate for lies an betrayals.
in this moment the lord of the house george trent was close to his 6 th wife joannah.
he was attending a summon from a major noble house but he was called back as he heard that his wife was close to giving birth. when he arrived he heard his wife screaming joannah was a common born woman she had blue eyes and golden hair due to her good looks george had pursued her for 4 months and she had agreed. after a long and laborious process joannah finally gave birth to a dark eyed golden haired boy this boy was obviously nicholas. when nicholas arrived on this world he saw a blue haired man looking towards him he had a faint trace of joy and surprise in his eyes .
to nicholas being born was a really new and profound experience he could not describe it but felt like a bucket of cool water was poured on him and he had awoken from a great slumber . while he was looking at his surroundings he forgot to cry and the wet-nurse slapped him on his buttocks that's when he remembered what he was supposed to do .
he made the largest and most realistic cry he could muster from his mouth "uwwah uwaah"
then the wet nurse finally smiled cleaned him up and put him in a soft blanket when all of this was happening his father was rummaging through his pockets and took out completely colourless stone that seemed to refract light when it light passed through it.
this was unknown to nicholas and he wondered what it was while he was thinking this his mother started hugging and breast-feeding him .
nicholas was obviously disgusted by this but he had to keep up his appearance as a baby or else who knows what these guys would do to him . he knew this was a mage world but he did not know what this signified and what sort of terrifying methods these guys possesed.
while he was thinking this his mother looked him in the eyes and said
" welcome to the world my son. i will try my hardest to protect you and never let anything happen to you "
while she was saying this his father injected
"what are you talking about woman he is the15th child of the house of trent he has a huge responsibilities on his shoulders don't promise things you cant keep. he should be the one to protect you and grow the house"
" now lets check his talents and how he will be usefull to our great house "
his mother obviously disagreed with her father and their was some anger on her face but she did not try to berate him
while nicholas was thinking what to do with his opportunities hearing the words of his father nicholas realized all worlds are the same and he can only depend on himself even this so-called "father of his" had already had 14 children. he assumed he would have a good start with 3 points in birth but he could feel his birth was just a tiny bit better than a commoner with so many children which father had the time to take care of them .He even stated to think about how to impress his new father of his so he could get more opportunities for growth and development .
he did not expect when his father put the coloursless stone in his hands it glowed with a light yellow colour.
"hmm he has got acceptable talent he can be put to use but his future achievements will mostly depend on his own hard work" said george
that was when Nicholas realised how sleepy he was maybe his small body could not keep him awake for a long time he yawned and fell deeply asleep
