"You want to kill Alexis?" I growled, dagger to hand instinctively.
My vision was still slightly blurry, and my actions were clumsy. Could I even get far if I decided to attack?
He turned suddenly, making me stumble backward, almost falling off the bed. He gripped my ankle and pulled me towards him, so I lay flat in the center of the bed. Then positioned himself between my legs.
