Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 Theodore

Oblivious to what was going on at the other side of the mansion, laid, fast asleep Aida. All her feelings of anxiousness and dread had dissipated when she sought solace in the fact that she wasn't alone in her room and the mansion was heavily guarded by her father's 'competent' men. She allowed sleep to carry her to a different world. In her slumber, she snuggled into the warm embrace of the person next to her. The warmth of the person, the fragrance emanating from the body, the hardness of the body, made her doubt the person next to her was her mother yet she felt at peace in the person's embrace and allowed sleep to take absolute control of her consciousness.

After bathing together, which they normally do, the twins retired to bed. Cindy looked much frightened, much to Ciara's chagrins. Ciara held Cindy tightly and protectively, constantly reassuring her things were going to be alright. Ciara slept after hearing Cindy's slow breath which convinced her Cindy was asleep. Cindy opened her eyes and crept slowly out of bed when Ciara began to snore softly. Cindy softly unlocked the door and walked down the stairs just in time to hear Maya say;

"I'm, honestly, older than Mary"

She thought of Maya's words as a joke and chuckled. Cindy quietly sneaked into the wine cellar and closed the door behind her. She wasn't a drinker and she wasn't planning on drinking either. She just wanted to be alone, and she knew no one will think she's there since they all know she's never a drinker. Ignoring all the wines in the cellar, she sunk in a corner to sulk. If she'd known it was going to turn out like this, she'd have dropped that habit of hers a decade ago. She sighed heavily and tears began to stream down her face. She felt so helpless. She had endangered the lives of the people she loved dearly due to her recklessness and she was going to pay dearly for it should anything happen. She didn't want to die yet, especially not now that her life had just began. She had to do something, come up with something to prevent anything from happening. Tearing and sulking wasn't going to solve the problem, was it?

"Think, Cindy think" she murmured to herself.

After several attempts to come up with an escape plan proved null, she slammed her fist into the wall and began to cry, shaking uncontrollably on the floor. Just when she thought all was lost, someone asked;

"Giving up already?"

Startled by the voice Cindy hurriedly raised her head only to meet that of Theodore's.

"Theo?" Cindy asked perplexedly.

"Who were you expecting?" Theo chuckled.

"How ..." Cindy tried to ask only for Theo's lip's to crush on hers.

Theo knew Cindy was burning with a lot of 'how?'.

Cindy was dying to ask him, how he got there? How he knew she was there...how long he's been there....how he entered the cellar.... But decided to relish herself in the current ecstasy, because it was going to last for only a short while.

Theo pulled his lips away and held her in his arms.

"Princess or piggy?" Theo asked looking at the shocked Cindy.

Cindy watched how his eyes stared solely at hers, his adam's apple bobbled up and down, and she knew what he wanted. After all, they have been married for two years and she understood that look very well.

"Princess or piggy?" Theo asked again.

"Princess" Cindy replied.

Theo carried her from the ground, took a turn and began to descend the stairs that led to a basement.

'How did he know about that when she didn't even know a place like that existed in the mansion.' Cindy thought as she looked perplexedly at him, which made Theodore chuckle. Theodore unlocked the door to one room after clicking on a few keys on the password door. Theodore walked in and switched the light on to reveal a humble yet elegant bedroom. Theodore lowered her onto the bed, sat beside her and asked;

"Why were you crying?" while stroking her cheeks carefully.
