"I think we should get your glasses first, can you see?" Rema asked me.
"I can manage Rema, there is no time." I insisted.
"But Xena, how can you survive without seeing?"
I packed up the rest of my soiled belongings and started walking away, ignoring his annoying questions. A sort of anger I couldn't explain was starting to brew deep within me and I had to walk away to let it out. It was like a trigger and the longer I listened to him the angrier I felt.
But Rema followed after me and held my hand firmly.
"Xena, what are you doing?" He asked sharply. "You can't be on this island without your glasses? What do you want to see it? What if something happens how will you move around?"
